What's up AFN? I purchased a new Bluelab PH pen yesterday and I calibrated in the 7.0 solution. I made my own 4.0 buffer but when I place the pen in the water (or any other water) the pH still reads 7.0 on the screen. Any suggestions? I have tried recalibration and it still only says 7.0.

Peace.

Nevermind, I googled the troubleshooting guide and it said that if it shows a pH of 7 no matter what solution you put it in then it is a bad bulb. The bulb can't be replaced so I took it back to the hydro store and the guy is ordering me a new one at no cost and gave me a liquid pH testing kit to get me by. Real nice of him.

Peace.

That sucks. I personally don't like the drops. Don't try to use them under HPS.

I am glad you gave that information to us PL&B,

I am having an issue myself, though you were helpful, not entirely so. I THINK my meter is off. I have a two pack solution one is pH 6.86 (25 C. ) then is states: "make up 250 ml" the other package is pH 4.0 ( 25 C. ). All other writing is in Chinese.

Would you know how I am supposed to calibrate this with these solution? I have the screwdriver and am ready to go. Just hoping you might be able to clarify. At least then I would know if my nutty numbers were really nutty.

Thanks for now

Eek
