I think you hit the nail on the head regarding the Devil Matic. The FFOF was probably too hot for it.

I put the seed in a 2x2x2 rockwool cube after it germed. I figured once the root broke through the rockwool she would be old enough to at least survive the FFOF. The only reason I was unsure if the soil was too hot is because i don't see any leaf discoloration or any signs that she's not healthy. The tips do look a little yellowish in the picture, but you can't notice at all in person.

Should I uproot her for the space? or do you think she'll survive and yield?

why does it look like they stretching???is it because cfls,,are kind of weak im just asking????nice set up bro.

based on all my research, the 12 CFLs I have in there should be plenty to see any auto all the way from seed to harvest.

the stretch is probably because for the first week or so I kept them on the window sill so my lights wouldn't be too harsh on them in the first few days of life. I'm pretty sure that's what the stretch is from.

At this point it's probably stunted. I've kept runts like that and they never end up yielding much. You're probably better off to just start another seed.

I transplanted it to a smaller container with a slightly diluted soil mix and it grew reasonably well there. I'm glad I didn't uproot it because it looks like it will yield at least a few grams for me.

Here's a quick picture update.

How's your pH? It's a little early for your leaves to be yellowing so I'm wondering if maybe you've got a bit of a pH lockout issue. Otherwise they look great.

Make sure to remove all of those dead and dying leaves. It helps not to leave dead matter in there for mold to get a foothold on. I made that mistake one time and ended up having a little mold funeral for my largest cola :o

I leave the dead leaves until the plant fully cannibalizes them then I pick em off.

My run off is about 6.0 (the lowest I tested was 5.7) and my water going in is 6.6 pretty religiously.

I think some of the lower dying leaves are getting that way because of the poor light penetration of the CFLs, but I am concerned about a ph problem and nute lock out.

I would think me PH is at least close to what it should be. should I flush with distilled water? or maybe PHup my water going in a little?

I ordered one of those milwakee PH testers for 20 bucks on amazon. I know it's a cheapy, but I cant use ,my friends hanna all the time, and I want to keep a closer eye on it.

Here's a couple more pics from this morning

6.0 is a little low on the run off and judging by the pics it does appear that you might have a little bit of a lock out situation. See what you get once you get your new meter. You may need to add a little hydrated lime to raise the pH up a bit.

Big update.

it was becoming clearer and clearer that my closet was not going to be big enough to see this grow all the way through, So I moved them over to my buddies place under a 400watt HPS

They filled right up over the last couple weeks

a couple days after they were moved:

My stunted little auto is about a foot tall and filling in nicely:

I know its smaller then it coulda/shoulda been, but I'm happy I let it live. She is going to flower up nice and thick to reward my compassion =]

as far as the other two, one showed it's first pistil just today, but I'm having trouble sexing the other one.

It has a bunch of spots that look like they could be nuts early on, but then they end up growing in to new vegitation. I'll try and post some picks, any gender tips are appreciated.

What the 'nuts' look like early:

but some of those are growing new branches right in the middle like this

And I'm not sure if these are sites for new vegetive growth, or fresh male flowers:

Also checked my run off PH with a better meter again and saw it register as low as 4.8

I'm pretty sure that's because of the flowering nute my friend was putting on all his plants (his nutes are meant as a top dressing or soil component. He was 'teaing' it in water and feeding the plants. The plants loved the nutes, but I'm betting serious salt and acid build up in the soil occured.

We flushed them today with water Ph'd at 7.4

I flushed my plants out with a TON on water. I would normally tell someone they were drowning there plants with this much water, but I feel like the irrigation of the air pots and the lightness of the FFOF mixed with perlite will be fine.
