AM is short for the morning hours. Right now my lights are on 24 hours a day but I need to get another timer and cut back to 18 or 20. I had one but it burnt up so I have been leery of getting another.

o i thought am was the name of ur other plants. are all ur plants bhd? so u normally do 18 or 20 light?when do u take em off 24.thx for help + rep. im about to start a thread of my girls.

From what I have come to understand there is not much difference in yield between 18/6 and up. I just want to cut my bill a little. I have been running 24/0 for 3 months now. I put it on a timer but it burnt up in a few days.

Thanks fellas. I have another male and female now bringing the count to 3 females, 2 males and one more about to show any day now. I need to pull the smaller male and replace him with another sprout.

Why dont you make an interfacing relay if youre concerne about safewty... get a digi timer... and a BIG RELAY.. make the timer trigger the realy to trigger power to sockets... can help you set thisd up if ou like..
