First Pictures and Day 38 (5 1/2 weeks)

To be honest, at this point in the grow I am disappointed in the start of this grow. It seems like they should be farther along than they are. I suppose it could be just a slower grower? Mitch, any idea? I have some DP that are 2 weeks younger and seem as far along these girls. Perhaps I will eat my words and change in a few weeks.

Ok I got the pics figured out sorta.. it's a lot of work but I will figure out an easier way. Learning curves tend to seem harder the older I get. The first plant is the one that is growing the flowers up the main stem. Anyone seen this before? #2 is going the best and that one looks pretty awesome. The last picture of my experiment of two in one 5 gallon pot. AND I cut off the taller plant. Oh well!

That plant in the first picture is now a full 8" Tall! Yeah, 8" at 6.5 weeks. I hope it is true what they say about girth more than making up for length.

Sorry I haven't been updating this thread. They are now at 8 weeks. 10 days ago, I flushed the crap out of them as they had some burnt looking leaves that after research looked like Zinc deficiency, which is yard to get but comes from locked nutes. I was ready to toss them and start over before the flush but now they are looking very good! The flush did the trick and they started bulking up. I got some stupid ass thrips again. I've only had those when using FoxFarm soil. I used the Fox Farm Seed Starter in the mix for the Brooklyn Sunrise plants (Which are doing excellent). I sprayed once early for the thripes last week and will have to do it again. :-( The good news is that these girls are now putting on some serious trichomes!

I think your girls are looking good so far. My Hiesenhound looks way different to yours this is a pic from day 36 on this girl all organic and only given water with some top dressing.

I am embarrassed to post pics of mine. One is just 8" and a single cola. It had to be that there was nutrient lock out. I will be lucky to get 2 ounces between the 3 plants. They are at 8 weeks now, so now all the can do is ripen.

It's a good possibility that the ph was the problem. I was worried that my soil mix was to hot but she took to my mix just fine I also had a slight ph lock out with her but it was short and later in her life.

I am going to finish this journal with this as my last post on it.

I cut one at 10 weeks and the others at 12 weeks.

I have cut all 4 of the plants. None of them actually recovered from the stunting at the start of the grow. Smallest plant ended up being a whole 8" tall with one main bud. 2nd plant was .8 ounces and the last two are hanging now. I imagine I may be 2 ounces total out of the 4 plants. I DO NOT blame this on the genetics though. It had to be a problem I created.

HOWEVER the trichome production is crazy. I may take it in for testing as it has to bee 20 % +. The smell is incredible from this first plant. I am going to be happy with the look and effect of the flowers for sure.

Now If I can, I will put them away to cure which should make that smell even better.

Bottom Line: LOTS of trichomes and terpenes. First hit was pretty expansive and strong. Can't wait to get blitzed on it.

So what does it smell/taste like?

I just gave two of these to a close friend to play with. He hasn't tried autos yet but has smoked mine. He is probably going to order some 3 Bears OG, he really liked that one.

I can't get a taste for the taste. It is green and just jarred up tonight. The smoke is expansive as is the high. I am trying to watch the NBA game but get distracted by the computer. I have been experiencing some strange almost deje vu moments like this would be really good for astral travel. The smell is pungent and what I pick up is the Sour smell probably from the Sour Hound. It does smell a bit like some Sour Urkle I grew too. So yes, it is mind expanding too. Right now, I like it.
