Just wanted to post up an update to this issue. Talk about keeping the faith alive, it really was with this. Anyhoo, here's a pic of the above plant now.
Others didn't fare as well, but are still going.
As they have all put the effort into their own existence, then I am happy to keep them alive for the duration - just to see.
I intend to pollinate any females with the pollen from the male, and then use any resulting seeds to see if I can breathe life into these old dragons. I'll put a thread link up later, in case anyone wishes to follow it.
