Photoperiod Bitten By the Bug Again.

Ladies looking good. What strains again?
818 Headband and 78, thanks for having a look at the girls. Oh the monster cropped clones are from one of my crosses.

Yep it's Friday so it's update time. It's been 4 days since I defoliated or tucked anything. I want to tuck and strip. I defoliate all the time during all stages of the plants life. If a leaf is throwing shade it's gone.

I joined this scroggers group about a week ago. I was advised by people to stop defoliating. These messages were recieved Sunday. I haven't done anything to the plants since Monday. And I'm itching to tuck and defoliate. I definitely flipped to early. Next run imma be golden!

Got me up 2.5 hours ahead of schedule. I watered the girls Sunday morning. As I watered the 78 2 little flies came out the holes. And one came crawling out the bottom. I was like WTF? I have done enough reading on growing, and also journals. I immediately knew they were fungs knats. I knew what to do, ordered some Mosquito Bits and some yellow stickies off Amazon. Order arrived yesterday.

I just made 3 gallons of tea with the Bits. I used hot tap water hot, but I could still keep my hands under the running water. It's 4tbs a gallon I used 5tbs. I'm going to let this sit for 2 hours than mix in my nutrients. When the lights come on. I will place some stickies in the 2 pots and all the solo cups with clones. Next I am just going to water as usual. Well just a little slower. I will repeat this process the next 3 waterings. Treating all the plants and also putting vinegar traps in the back of the tent. I'm stoping this shit before its a problem. I know what happened. I have some small clones hanging out under the screen where plants didn't stretch to.

These clones go in during lights on and back to my other clones during lights off. The reason for this is because these clones get a heaver feed than the other clones. And need more light as I need them to grow bigger now. As I will be using Tiresias Mist on the 4 clones, 3 selves and 1 cross coming up soon.

Anyhow the clones have been in the tent with the girls 12 hours a day for 6 days. I just bought this Promix and used it on these rooted clones last week. Chucked the whole bag, I wasn't doing the whole bake it in the oven before you use it routine. 10 plus years and NEVER have I had any pests in my plants intil now. Yes I only seen 3 and haven't seen any flying around since. But I know their laying eggs about my plants. STOP IT NOW BEFORE ITS A PROBLEM!!

one day … I need to pop much more beans in the ‘right now’… but one day Ill play in the reversal games…and cross me some hybrid FIRE.

Smokes, thanks for sharing cuz. These types of transparent “Eff-ups” and how you fixed it are pretty valued content.
plus knowing/sharing why (clone exchange) is a big help for others trying to diagnose problems in their garden(s).

im tuned in and eager to see how this pans out for your girls.

Nothing to do with growing. My youngest son is a Marine, he has 3 years in. He sent me pictures today. Wanted to share a part of my world, aside from plants and sneakers
