Do you see what I am on about here guys, like I said it is getting worse as expected

Hopefully the pictures will show the discolouration and the tips of the leaves.

I would hazard a guess and nitrogen toxicity and nutrient burn

I quote....

“Sometimes you'll also see nutrient burn leaf tips also curl or "claw". The clawing can be caused by an overabundance of Nitrogen (Nitrogen Toxicity), which is common for plants that are experiencing nutrient burn from overall high levels of nutrients.

Problem: You will notice the tips of your marijuana leaves showing the first signs of nutrient burn by turning yellow, tan, gold or brown. A light case of nutrient burn will only affect the tips of your leaves.

The yellow tips will eventually turn rusty brown and crispy. If you do not correct the problem, you may also notice the burn slowly spreading from the tips to the whole leaf. At this point, if you haven't done so already, you should immediately treat your plant (directions below) before there's more damage

Nutrient burn can also manifest itself as brown or bronze spotting around the edges of the leaf serrations (often when there's a problem with proper absorption of potassium), or with leaf tips curling downwards (tips pointing down is often associated with too much nitrogen).”

Personally I wouldn't worry about it mate, maybe add some sort of calmag? Did you add any lime of any kind to the original mix? Mind you was your tap water about EC 0.8 or am I making that up? If so, just add some magnesium. Old Timer do an organic one that I use when necessary/if I remember.

I wouldn't worry about the slight N heaviness. The autopots are on and they're bottom feeding now right? They will grow into it now I reckon. 2 or 3 tabs in the pots dude?

I think they look really good and happy with that very slight discolouration.

As for the stretchy cheese, proper cheese can be a gangly old fecker so I'd be watching that one and giving her extra love, she looks nice man

Hi bud

I didn’t add any lime, just did a standard biotabs starter pack mix.
Yep, PH of water is 8.3 when settled, I am sure it has been around 7 ish but think they been fucking with the water.

I will look into magnesium, how would I go about adding that to this?

Autopots are on and have been for about a week and they are drinking very well.

I put 2 tabs per pot

Cheers for looking in

Ah sorry mate, whats the EC of your tap water? If it's high like mine (0.7/0.8) you won't need calcium.

Magnesium you just mix into water and top feed it mate. Rather than doing a full res as it could be too much mag. So just turn the res off for a day and then give them a litre or two of water with magnesium in. Plant Magic Old Timer Organic Magnesium is the one I have.

I wouldn't worry about the very slight N issue. The tabs are just fully active now and they're slurping up the organic goodness. It will all stabilise very soon mate.

EC is 0.3

What about the run off, just let them sit as they are in the bases.

the high ph 8.3 could be causing the lock out,the slight N issue could also be part of that :shrug:fix the ph and everything else should fix itself perhaps.
:pighug:

We are told not to correct the PH with biotabs :d5:

yes but thats because of the chemicals in ph up/down mess up living things in soil.the medium/soil and biotabs have a ph buffer of sorts to correct mild ph fluctuations.8.3 is very high starting point, can you mix water sources to lower ph a bit ? bottled though expensive,or take an empty 5gal jug round your mates ?
