the high ph 8.3 could be causing the lock out,the slight N issue could also be part of that :shrug:fix the ph and everything else should fix itself perhaps.
:pighug:

Not entirely sure there is a lock out dude? I don't see signs of one, just a very very slight deficiency.

8.3 is definitely high PH but shouldn't be a game changer. How about trying some organic/natural PH down mate? That will work but is just not as long lasting.

Personally I wouldn't do too much other than add some calmag if you're in coco and you tap water is only 0.3 EC. I honestly don't think we are at lock out stage yet. Assumption is the mother of all f*ck ups.

Heh...

What’s natural ph down are you referring too, I will look into.
Also how would you add calmag to this?
Thanks

Well I used a natural/organic ph down off amazon mate. It does the job well but you need to keep on top of it as the PH tends to rise with time. But then even easier than that is using vinegar and lemon juice or similar for alkali and acid.

Calmag will generally be a liquid so you just add to the res mate. Or if you think they only need a one off treatment, turn the res off for a day and top water with a litre or two of water containing calmag.

I think I need to add some calmag, they are starting to flower and maybe this is part of it. (I am holding off from doing it for now)

Now the question is, can I add a small mixture of calmag to the res as biotabs info doesn’t give any variation from its instructions and is confident that the mix handles and balances everything, which in an I deal world is great, but in my world I need more info lol.

My water is high, would adding a low mix of calmag to the res at this stage be worth a try?
I have some shogun calmag I could use.

Thanks

Day 30

temperatures have been steady and leaf temperature has been around 23 to 25C so i would expect the plants to be dealing with that ok.
although one plant especially is showing heat stress but that could be a combination of some other deficiencies or something eating the plant.

i did find a tiny white moving insect, i didnt have a camera on me at the time so i killed it. it was quite small, best i can see it could be a thirp

Note: this is a picture taken from the below website, and thats the best i can show you in comparison to the one i found, although i couldnt look through microscope and killed it
thrips-nymph-marijuana-sm.jpg

https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-thrips also some of the leaves look similar to to what is shown on the link, maybe you will see the resemblence

i do find some tiny white specs on my leaves, that dont move that i can get rid of, i do wonder if these are eggs or something, i am sure i got a picture of them, it might be nothing.

here are the temps over the last month. (note the outdoor module is above the light at the top of the back of the groom, and the indoor is on the floor to the right middle of the groom) i have two other hydrometers hanging which are similar readings etc. so the ambient temps of the room should be accurate

here is this little white spec i was talking about, which didnt move (found a few of these over the past week or so, wasnt sure what they were so would get rid of them but sticking to my finder and throwing away kind of thing), it might be nothing

i also found this, but it could have been one of the flower things i knocked off or it may be something else, what you think?

Day 30 continued.......

sign of heat stress maybe, even though this is not as close as the other cheese in height. (but this is the one with more of the leaf markings)
