Nutrients Biobizz nutes Day 17?

@BII will give her a spray with an Epsom salt solution next feed my watering and feeding schedule was out of whack don’t know what I was thinking but all sorted now just a little clawing so will keep grow to a minimum for next couple feeds it wasn’t a nutrient issues all it was my stupidity haha will keep posted. Didn’t seem to affect vertical growth anyway so she hasn’t been too hampered

But like I mentioned, search AFN or otherwise look into adding some cal-mag or something that will act as a pH buffer vs. feeding just pure water (with pure water pH swinging wildly).

I’ll continue with nutes see how I get on just got my ph pen and checked my waters ph is 7 it is filtered to remove chlorine etc.. without removing minerals from the water. I was under the impression that the soil does a good job at correcting ph? I will find out the ph of my water mixed with nutes tomight she is looking good now no clawing it was for sure the lack of water she was receiving pot is nearly dry after feeding 2 litres 2 days ago. She just looks a little droopy now because lights out is in 2 hours but first thing she’s reaching for the sky  thanks for your input @BII

@Autoireland you looking good bud. I’m sorry if you already said it and I missed it but how old is that girl??also are you using biobizz soil too? Is it light or all mix?? I’m also a noob with only 1 grow under my belt but I use the same soil and nutes and I can honestly say biobizz range is weak so a lot more forgiving for new growers so good choice. Another thing I would definitely do is some LST pronto on that baby. Open it up and within a couple of days you’d be amazed how many bud sites you be able to see. Good luck and I keep my fingers crossed for you. :d5::pighug:Almost forgot : start adding some calmag too. Don’t be reactive be proactive. It will need some sooner rather than later. Peace.

Biobizz light mix soil she is 33 days from sprout now. I have some Epsom salts don’t have access to calmag at the moment would be next week so going to mix up solution and give her a good spray under leaves when lights come on to tonight
As for the lst I wouldn't at this stage she is fairly rigid I did tie her down at the beginning but then did the silly thing of taking off the string and she shot straight up but it did expose some bud sites and they seem to be developing the micro light seems to have very good penetration through the canopy

today pics not looking to bad
with coco or RO water feeding plain water is a big mistake, thats going way past flushing to stripping the medium.and RO water is near impossible to ph anyways.
my water makes lovely tea :coffee: its got 160ppm out the tap.i used to live in a place that had tons of cal in the tap water,so much so that the inside of the kettle grew fur :yoinks: some LED's seem make some plants want more cal.....but cal/mag comes in the same bottle (chem) thats why folk say cal/mag when 9/10 times they mean cal. :coffee2:
cal. tiny tiny rust spots, mag. a blotchy paleness thing....but dont quote me im a stoner not a grower....and a 4th opinion allways.

sorry me just being lazy :baked: thinking a couple of waters 4,5 days, see improvement and back on the feeds :smoking:
soil in theory buffers ph to a degree......soil buffering,i feel not as much as them ph perfect nutes would do.biobizz have a good website FAQ's they say not to use chem ph and calmag.
good luck n keep er lit
:pighug:

Great man cheers so as you know my tap water has a ph of 7.

Last night I mixed nutes 1 ml per litre biogrow, top max and algamic plus 2ml per litre of bioheaven and when that was mixed the ph was 6.3. I then watered the plant and added a litre of plain water also totalling 2litres with just over 100ml run off which ph’d at 6.1. My water is around 170ppm so I am told.

I was thinking my plant appears to have very healthy leaves no rusting spotting or fading at all apart from one of the bottom sets of leaves which you can see does this appear to be the start of something or is it jus old leaves not getting light? I was thinking no need for cal mag as my ph has been kept inside the right ph range we will see as time goes on.

As you can see from the pictures the small little leaves from buds are canoeing down but the rest of the plant is ok is this just a genetic thing or related to nutes?

One other thing would it affect the plant if for one day I changed the light cycle from 18/6 to 20/4 because I want to move the lights out time back 2hrs to suit me better?

i wish, people (stoners) talk about having a high tolerance.i think im immune to it :coffee2: my ebay history tells me im averaging 12 rockets a day :smoking:and me asda history tells me 12 cups a tea a day :coffee:
the main cola has taken off a bit :superhero:it could call for a supercropping later :what?:

a feed immediately followed by the same amount of plain water,is more or less the same as a half strenght feed/or half the numbers.
i sometimes grow in 1L pots in the winter to give myself a lil vatiety pack xmas present :smoker: i would often mix up a feed of 250ml and if its day 10 i need 1ml/L so that means 0.25ml for the 250ml of water i have.

so much so that when i found a listing 4 for 2.99 i got them to :coffee:

rusting, spotting of bottom stuff...i talked about that in my cupboard thread the other day https://www.autoflower.org/threads/archie-gemmills-trophy-cabinet.51671/page-126
ya see threadmarks up top left beside page number ? hit that for a list of things
autos dont mind altering light patterns as long as its not 12 times in a week, the odd power cut for 2-20 hours, then when the power comes back on the schedules up the left :cuss:they dont much mind that either :smokeit:
a friday nigher :pass:

Haha well I’m a casual smoker the sort that can’t get a whole lot done when I smoke so just smoke after work and weekends haha that joint would have me incapacitated :crying:

Seeing as I only have one plant on the go I’m going to leave the super cropping until I have a few on the go at the one time not going to risk stressing her too much and losing her. Going to grow a few strains next time for sure. Thanks man I was fairly sure manky leaves was just from the watering.

I gave her 2.7 litres of water today with 1ml per l of feed going to double it to 2ml next feed. Cheers for your input man :d5:
