in all honesty, i think they're both on par ive thinned her out loads and im not big on training but with the airpot having all the holes it meant i had them to tie her branches down and i did go crazy but i also in veg spray her with kelp daily at first and i think it makes a big differenceShe is a real beauty @St. Tom
I've had good results from this type of training in the past...she seems like she's do well...at this point anyway. Time will tell, I suppose.in all honesty, i think they're both on par ive thinned her out loads and im not big on training but with the airpot having all the holes it meant i had them to tie her branches down and i did go crazy but i also in veg spray her with kelp daily at first and i think it makes a big difference
Ok, may I offer some advice? I am not a fan of the "no transplant". I honestly do not see the point of it. Autoflowering strains growth is directly related to Root growth and health. I feel like this site is full of the "Monkey see, Monkey Do" mentality. What exactly do people think the advantage of it is to leave your plants in cups vs just taking them out like normal? It causes rootbounding and is counterproductive. Once an Auto is Rootbound, the plant will not do nearly as well. Also, Biotab grown plants need pots that are 2 gal or larger. Not sure the size you are using? The one looks rather small and Biotabs don't work well in small pots. Personally I would suggest that the next time you start some plants that you actually do a real transplant. Have you every tried? Roots are everything for Autos. The roots will be much happier if they have room to spread out. I truely think that is the main reason your first plant looks the way it does. It won't be a big plant, it is stunted for good. Not adding Silica has nothing to do with it. Plants don't require it, but do require healthy root systems. If you need any help, please feel free to pm me. Just wanted to share my experience. I have used Biotabs before, trust me on the importance of Pot size. Organic tsbs don't have enough steam to do a full grow in small pots. Good luck! Thanks mate. I'm using soil with added perlite around 70/30 mix. Biotabs have been used in both. One with problems has silicium flash added, forgot to put it in the other. Will top feed when needed.
They are instatransplant cups so have windows cut around the cup.
Cheers

What size tent? Use just 2 cobs over the 3 plants for a few days. See what happens. You want less light to promote a little upward stretch. Are you running 24/0? If so, try 18/6 to see if they stretch during lights off. Also, they are not budding...2700k isn't needed yet and may keep them shorter. Thanks Slow! The only change from the routine was the addition of silica in the first res, and reinstalling the big blurple. I’ll turn it off for a bit and get my 2700k COBs in there. Fingers crossed!
These girls take up about a 3x3 space in a 5x10 tent. I was running them at 20/4 but just switched 3 days ago to 12/12. Haven’t switched out the COBs to 2700 yet, they are still under a pair of 3500s. And the big blurple is off as you suggested although that puts temps lower than I’d like. Might be time to fire up the heater. Good grief! Not really mentally ready for flower just yet haha! haven’t even given the first dose of bud explosion. But I’ll get to it tonight or tomorrow.
