Syder..pop..what is the Start date on your girls..and what lights do you have them under...?
Mine we put in soil to germ on 29th May.

pop..I was going to say the same to you about doing a KISS in the Experimental section..but I have spotted an Opportunity to do a "How to Tame your Dragons Breath thread" between the 3 of us with our different methods.

Ho Mossy! the start date for my Yoda's Dragon's Breath is June 4th. The light I’m using is a Mars Hydro 192x3 Reflector. Tame your YDB huh? Sounds interesting fill me in on your ideas!

yodas Dragons are Tall phenos..and as you have both experienced need to be Tamed for small spaces..so your two methods and my outdoor..just the Basics ripped out of our threads could give New Growers different ways to keep her manageable.
Like a Dragons Breath Tutorial.

Mossy, I've yet to grow ydb but they're looking like my next start. I'm glad you thought of this. I can use all the help I can get

my observation is we need to try aggressive training techniques on more autos. I'm thinking that, more autos than we know are able to respond well to these advanced techniques. And some won't. I'm considering growing several strains and abusing them all, to see if they will respond well or not.
This helps illustrate why I am constantly challenging the practices and techniques associated with growing. Too many concepts are based on hearsay and minimal observation. On my YDB, I broke the main stem just above the second node. I didn't even blink, just noted the break and observed the plants reaction. She didn't even hesitate! Growth continued like nothing had happened! I was aggressive with the scrog net also, the height above the pot being only 8". It was a gamble bending her that low yet she took it with no issues. I'm thinking topping is fine also, just not as aggressively as with a photoperiod, once, maybe twice. And I'd use it more for height control than as a method for increasing cola production.

When you are Finished..we will make a Short KISS out of your method with your photos for the Experimental section.
Next time someone Asks about supercropping Autos..we can refer them to it.

Apologies people, been swamped at work and not online much. Sure Mossy, I'm all for that idea! Happy to help.

Lights are 2 x 150W MarsHydro LEDs.

Again, happy to help, and good idea.

They sure are tall phenos! But they're easily manageable. Mine are 54 days and just getting scent now. I restricted N for about a week but they've stretched even more and are finally showing signs of getting on with flowering...though they look to be a little light on buds so far; I'll need to do a search on other grows of YDB to see what results are typical (I suspect N restriction during budset didn't help them none). I'll put some pics up tonight with any luck.

That's a great idea pop, but I think you'll find not many, if any, will object to a good crimping session, so long as it's done well (yes, I believe there are optimal ways to do it and some not so great ways).

56 Day Dragons!

Howdy,

My YDBs are now putting on weight. I restricted N for about a week to slow their stretch and it hasn't agreed with them: lots of leaf yellowing and general loss of vigor. I'm pumping them now so they've started to recover but I reckon I messed with them a little too much. Hoping for a decent finish.

I'll keep nutes up to them and see how much more I can eek out of 'em, but if they keep recovering it shouldn't be too bad. Nice sweet scent coming out of them now.

Cheers.

lots of leaf yellowing

Actually South that could just be indicating that you have JEM dom phenos.
They are cal/mag Hounds and I am quite Used to seeing a bit of yellowing on my girls as they get nearer harvest.
I wouldn't Blame yourself.

I Think they look Good..I can see weight on since the last photos..Glad they have started to smell.

I have 2 with smells I am Familiar with and one that isn't smelling much at all yet...but I'm outdoor...I Think you get more of a Blast of Dragons Breath from a grow room....:dragon4:..how far do you Think you are off harvest..?
I did my first Test bud yesterday..just shy of 7 weeks.
Haven't tried it yet..but I want to know the Earliest I feel the Kick..:hookah:

I want the Results for Frankensteins Lab....then if anyone is Thinking of trying it we have named crosses that will respond.
Doesn't matter where you have your thread we will cut and copy the bones over when you have results.

I Actually Agree with you. If we don't push the perameters we will never find anything out..Experiment.
It is the only way to Learn what they are Capable of.

That's how I Learned that you Can clone Autos..my girl got broken so far down she split the mainstem at the root..I had Nowt to Lose.

I can remember I had you down for a couple of Projects down in the lab but I couldn't remember which....now I know..I can make you Work..:crying:

South too..we Need these results for Info to Teach..
