Best time to collect the pollem from a male plant?

Its me again :tiphat:
I plant 10 of the (AKxOrangeRyder) seeds and they all germinate."pher Wiggle"
The next step will be to select the best female and the best male to breed the next generation.

Do anybody has tip for breeding criterion. I think i have to look for:
Autoflower:y/n
germinating time:
construction of the plant:
color of the buds/leaves :
the smell:
the taste:
the high:
the life cycle of the plant:

What do you think about my plan?

Thx for all the help friends

You need to figure out what you want in a plant.
If you have 10 going say you get 5 males and 5 females look for the best of both. Pick you best male. Look for vigor and most pollen sacks on a male. Smell can play a role.
Find what you like best and go for it.
Then toss out the other males.

If you don't mind fully seeded buds, allow your best male to pollinate all of your females. Because you will only know each females traits AFTER they have done growing. Keep the seeds that are in the buds of your favorite couple of plants, and keep those seeds seperate.

Otherwise, if you select the female to breed early in flower, you are really only just guessing. Like hank said, you need to know what it is you are looking for, which is obviously more tricky growing from seed as opposed to clones.

Hi SkatterBrayne

I got 3 female and 7 male, i cut all the male plants i dont need....and i will pollinate the 3 females.

Thanks for the tips

Hello Friends,

start collection any time. If you have your male in a different area just wait until the female is well formed, maybe around week 3-4, and smack the male against the female.

Let her sit away for a few days, if you dont want to seed your other plants, wash her down with water, back in the general tent she goes.

Hi hank
Thanks for your replay. I collect the pollen and store them in my freezer. Then i pollinate the female and 10 days after i do it i see the seeds developing in the buds. I will post some pics if i get my camera back from my brother.
