was thinking about doing Lst but ive heard topping or mainlining autos can be good for quality of buds/or just leave them to do there thing the natural way anyhelp guys thanks :)

First grow? I’d suggest going natural just so you get to grips with watering/feeding/dialling in your environment for each step of the grow. Once you’ve got the basics nailed then go for some stress the next grow when you’re confident of the other ‘basic’ aspects of growing.

If you feel you really want to do something then some light lst and tucking big leaves to open up budsites would be my recommendation. As autos are on a fixed lifespan, any stress that might stunt growth could have a knock on effect to your grow time and final yeild.

That all said, some people will say top them after the 4th node around day 20 (give or take a couple of days) and you should be fine. Personally I’ve never topped - too scared to ruin a grow when I can only grow a couple at a time and can’t risk losing a plant to my own stupidity lol! I’ve LST’d a fair bit and i think it’s helped increase yields.

I use two nets 1 to train plant down and wide and second about 8 inch up from first to support buds help keep even canopy works well with led lights without much light penetration. Lots of tops of top notch gear any lower stuff turn into bubble hash

i think i do some light training depending on how they look probably do 2 sessions starting from week 3/4 and leave ties for 4-7 days each session and see how it goes so i will stop training the plant around week 6

if everything goes well which i think i should (HOPEFULLY) be fine.my average humidity is around 50 % i will try bump it up when its a seedling to around 60 70/then drop in veg to 50 and then drop in mid flower to around 40 45 and keep a good temp of 23-24 Celsius through out.. how does that sound that is how ill probably get my environment

if this is your first grow i would maybe just do some leaf tucking or if your doing more than 1 plant experiment more on 1 also your 50 RH will be ok i grow most of the year-round with 50 RH

I've tried topping, training, and SCROGing but now just let them grow the way they want.
Much simpler, and the yields are almost the same.
For us small home growers who don't need a lot of herb, I believe this is the best style.
The only necessary pruning is to cut off less efficient, aging leaves that look less healthy.

do you go with 50 rh the whole way through ?

i can grow fine from start to finish at 50 RH but if i only have seedlings in i may add a humidifier for there 1st week or put a little dome over them from when they first pop
