You can plant in soil, just water when they need it, I can't really explain the watering to well, I just go by feel, for feeding it can vary, I don't recommend daily, that would be to much, I used to feed once a week, but I just went organic so now it's once a month

Chemical nutes are okay as long as you give them a good flush before harvesting. I've had good success with the General Organics Biothrive line. All organic nutes that give good results. Generally speaking, indoor plants usually require water/feed about twice a week. MJ likes to dry out between feedings so daily feeding would eventually drown the roots, deprive them of oxygen and kill the plants.

cheers for all the advice and help think im starting to make up my mind on equipment and nutes been doing alot of research now just to decide on the right strain to grow and im pretty much sorted

What are you looking for in a strain? Motivating sativa, relaxing couch lock stone, or a mix of both?

my area every 1 is all bout getting as mashed as possible so as strong as i can get but also its hard to get a good strain so something classy like purple haze or ak47 or pineapple express would be ideal
