Hello,
I just bought sone autoflowers :

Russion rocket fuel
Auto assassins
Onyx
Think different
Flash babylon

I plan to veg them in a 60x60cm cabinet under cfl, and them plant them outdoor.
So i bought some extreme gardening azos & mykos. I am limited in pot size because i have to transport them in travel bags. So 1l is the maximum for the first 2 weeks. My soil is biobizz light mix...

And i think i will do it like xtreme gardening says to water the plants with azos mixed in the water. And mykos mixed under the soil....
My feeding plan is to give them seaweed extract and supervit after week 1 ! I also want to water with oxygenated water ( treated 24hrs with an airstone ).
And what do you think about mixing the mykos 1 week before inserting the seeds under the soil, so they have 1 week to "activate" !?

:smokebuds:You could add mychorisae to the pots, but how long do you plan on keeping them in the pots? You could also add some myco in the soil mix outside, the stuff works.I tryed it on some of my tomatos and they are almost twice as big as the ones with no myco.

I plan to veg for 2 weeks in the 1l pots and then plant them outdoor. Ok and what do you think about preparing the pots with mykos 1 week before germination ?

I would add the myco to the pots when you fill them and then add some more to the soil when you transplant. It takes about 2 weeks for the myco to become activated but they need plant roots to grow on, so by the time they become active your plants should have sufficient roots. Also, I wouldn't transplant them outdoors till they have 4-5 sets of true leaves. You will greatly improve their chances of survival than if you transplant at 2 weeks. Biobizz Light Mix is soil less and doesn't contain any nutrients. I would suggest you start feeding them a mild veg nutrient around day 12 - 15.

Ok, but longer veg time means bigger plants and i dont have enough space because of my transport bags. Maximum plant height from pots is around 18cm ! And what do you think about azos from start ?

6" of growing space and your choice of plants are 3ft+ this will not end well

it will take a 1-2 weeks to acclimatise the plants to out door (and you will only get 1-2 weeks in that space)

Then I'd suggest bigger transport bags. Two week old seedlings are still pretty fragile. You will greatly enhance their chance of survival if you wait as suggested.

What are azos?

Mhh, thats a big problem with the bags because it must be very stealth ! Or maybe travel backpacks, so when i cut the space in half the plants could reach 10" . And when is the best time to bring them out ? When they start flower, or before ?
Azos is a nitrogen fixing bacteria, google for " azospirillum brasilense ". Superb stuff !!

By the time they get 4-5 sets of true leave I would expect them to be about 6" tall, give or take. They will likely be about 3-4 weeks old and usually by that time will have sexed.

I'm not familiar with azos and to my knowledge, have not seen anyone else here using them.

hello---i carry 6 at a time to the woods in a 5 gallon bucket with a lid painted green--- i use small containers to start till sexing--then put 1 female in middle of 5 gallon bucket and 5 more around it---good snug fit -i have a few holes in top and sides for air while traveling.can sit on bucket so you got an excuse for haveing bucket nature watching so to speak!!!rides on truck good---simple but works good!!! depending on your starter pot size you may get more or less containers in 5 gallon bucket
