Price: Jacks 321
Simplicity: Canna

Bottled nutrients are a boutique item with extra markup, any granulated/powedered hydroponic nutrient can be used for coco if you dissolve it in water. And the solid stuff is generally cheaper.
But it's also harder to store. These salts suck moisture out of the air and if you don't store them absolutely air-tight you are left with a fun mineral-paste you can't use anymore because you can't weigh them accurately anymore.

So if you use solid nutes: pre-package them in weighed portions for your res and put those into another container to make doubly sure they stay dry as long as possible.

Let's say we use 100L for a plant to grow from seed to harvest here's the _total_ cost of nutrients:
Jacks 321: $ 0.50
Canna A&B: $ 9.00

Now I have to admit that this comparison is not quite fair because.. my calculation for Jacks included things like fulvic acid and all other possible addons you could use for a successful grow while Canna is only including A&B.

You pay for packaging, shipping, handling, marketing, organization and your convenience using it. You can grow pot cheaply quite easily if you're willing to be a tiny bit inconvenienced and pre-package/mix yourself.

100$ grow setup: https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...l-in-an-oversized-shoebox.62379/#post-1621365

20L/5gal water

N: 2.2960 g
P2o5: 2.2960 g
K2o: 4.5160 g
Ca: 0.9840 g
Mg: 1.0680 g
S: 1.2580 g
B: 0.0041 g
Cu: 0.0016 g
Fe: 0.0271 g
Mn: 0.0066 g
Mo: 0.0007 g
Zn: 0.0041 g
Fulvic Acid: 4.2 g

Nutes are not food for plants, light is. Everything else is secondary, budget accordingly.

I have had success with Remo bottled nutrients. Bought the full line. Was tuned into them by a very good grower from the community. Simple to use too, all of them mix at the same volume per Litre/gallon and you can mix them in any order according to the manufacturer. PH stable once adjusted meaning you can store them for days with no change to the PH. I still check it though.
Cheers

Hey thank you.

I am stuck between Canna or Megacrop for coco. Are you currently using megacrop?

Thanks man. I will have a look at those, i was also looking at the Advanced Nutients sensi coco PH perfect nutes, but they are super pricey compared to the rest, i wonder if they are worth the mark up.

Never used them, but probably not.

canna works pretty well doesn't it?! i was actually surprised how well balanced it is.. did have a few magnesium def issues in the beginning but those are sorted after flushing with 1.4ec solution.
what's your experience so far?
