The bottom leaves keep developing these spots/blotches. I’m in FFHF, 74f, 55rh, and was using my tap(on a well) water ph’d. Saw this starting on the first leaves and gave a 1/2 dose of calmag. Found out later that my well water was at almost 800 ppm so that calmag may have been a mistake. I’ve switched to bottled water(ph’d) hoping that this is an excess minerals that’ll work their way out…but I’m new af at this lol. Thx for any insight

Problem: bottom leaves developing mustard yellowish spots at end of leaves works their way inward

Medium/grow method:top 2/3 happy frog, bottom 1/3 ocean forest(added 30% perlite to both)

Feed: and supplements used ph’d water and a one time 1/2 dose of calmag

water source:my tap is well water that reads about 780 ppm. I learned this when trying to diagnose this problem. I started giving ph’d bottled water a week ago

Strain/age:Barney farm-gorilla zkittles sprouted 10/19(3wks3days old)

light used:tsl2000 at 60/65%

Climate:74f/55rh

Additional info: The bottom leaves keep developing these spots/blotches. I was told they can be removed, so I hesitantly did so with the first and 2nd sets once they seemed too far gone. Every time I remove a set tho, the next one starts ti develop it. Had a few fungus gnats at first, but not seeing any now. Looked hard for any other possible pests too

I would like to verify the scale and accuracy of that 780 PPM reading? How are you measuring it? Do you have hard water rings in your toilets?

The accuracy of that reading is suspect. It’s a cheap tds meter, but it read 2 “bottled” waters down at 120 and 70 or so. I also have a sediment filter coming off the water tank the turns from white to orange within a minute of changing it. I am gonna get it tested ASAP tho. I’d b really happy to hear the waters not too hard

I had similar symptoms when I fed a seedling calmag. She looks in okay shape, just feed water for now and next week or so introduce some nutrients.. or stick with plain water phd until she shows signs of hunger and then start your feeds.
