Well I have been meaning to actually do a thread for oh...4 years now? Nope I don't procrastinate!! Anyway I had planned to wait till my next grow cause this one was less than awesome!! but then thought lets start with a bad one!! not that this is gonna be ALL that bad.
First my setup. I use a bucket style ebb n flow in hydroton media. my light is a rebuilt mars 700w. with 16 vero 18's Feed is maxibloom all the way through and I do not dump my res unless I get cooties (Shudders) I foiler with seaweed until flower then add abit to the res I use bloombastic in VERY small amounts throughout flower.
2 problems this grow. 1rst: one plant was much smaller. I call it the mini meth pheno It is so far from the leds I threw a small 55w cfl over it she is filling out nicely even in low light. trying to self this one with cuttings outside. 2nd problem one plant wants a lot of food, while the other burns, and its the meth pheno eating like a pig of course!! Anyhow I have seperated them and am hand feeding the mini meth. The crazy long pheno is the most common of this mix. it will never get thick buds, but will be super awesome smoke. i should still pull 6 or more Z's from her.These are crystal meth X Robocrop F1's. Light.

Sorry about the pics but I will get a better camera as time go's on.Sucks cause they are really frosty even the stems. On the bright side you cant really see the burn. the minimeth pheno should be coming out in the next week or less not sure on the robo pheno 80ish days anyway. They are @ day 71 now.
Minimeth is being feed half strength nutes 1tsp molasses and 1tsp seaweed 1tbl spoon peroxide per gall every 4 hours I run a hose down the stairs abit and collect the runoff. throw an aerator on it and use it again later.

I didnt get any seeds from the big pheno my cat ate the cuttings. PT

Thanks. I am a follower of the lucas method which is to say I belived enviroment more than nutes made the difference. However having a friend who owns a nursery & grows ornamentals for a living I was hearing great things about the virtues of sea weed.. anyway I am a believer now. I even replaced my cloning hormone with it and get nearly 100% success in 10 days or less, using nothing but seaweed and honey. I'll be using that method next grow when I make seeds So as not to lose those genetics.I clone every plant I grow. if it turns out interesting I self it and freeze some poillon. If I don't have it in my collection I will self it. If it isn't interesting I let it flower out if it's summer, or kill it if it's winter and i have to keep it under lights.

Thats pretty damn awesome,Is it autos that you turn to males with colloidal silver?,i've only briefly heard of this..

ya man. I make the colidal silver with 2 1 gram ingots a 12v ac-dc plug like for a phone or router and some distilled water. it must be distilled. Ro is not pure enough and the silver will bond with other salts forming...? well stuff you don't want.Sorry that's the limit of my smerts on that one. Here is a few pics of the mini meth clone.(I hate this camera) I had given up on this one didnt think she was going to shoot nanners but then a few days ago pow!! I had to cheat so you can see em redneck style! I used some reading glasses so you can see the nanners the ones up top are to hard to see but they are there.oh ya These are out in the garden with my squash so ya its not real pretty it doesn't get a lot of love. I didn't make any from the robo pheno I have a better selection from that pheno already.
I don't have much room. I only grow out 2 at a time and they fill my 3x3 so I have to take cuttings from everything just incase its a keeper.it is not as good as clones but you can get a pretty homogenous crop in a year or so. Only I understand I am likely missing out on potentially better plants to work with due to such a limited amount of plants to select from. if I harvest every three months then I will have 3-5 harvests a year 4 being average.. That's only 8 plants to make selections from as I still have to have meds for myself and my mom.
Anyway the mini meth is so interesting because of how well it is filling in so far from the main light. You can't see it but when I reach under her skirt :Blush: she has nice full buds under there. this is really cool cause none of these phenos are the tighhtest buds being all sativa dom. and I have done a grow under 600w hps so I know the looser buds are not my leds! nope I can imagine growing 4 of these little buggers instead of my usual 2, but that's likely sometime next year. cause next I'm gonna do either some cookies or Rino from fast buds crew For my mum. and I'm buying fast buds shit cause so far their shit is stable as a rock.

Thats really cool bro,Have you considered on doing up a thread for the use of silver at all? in my situation ,its easier just to buy seeds as my op consists of only 6 plants and i get the seeds cheap enough.but that will change one day in the future no doubt when i want to amp things up ,Even still i love learning anything cannabis and would love to read your thread on it if you ever have the time to write one up

Actually no I hadn't thought about it. It really seems to be covered,but ill look to see if theres a thread here. If not Ill work it into this thread. Im gonna just do all my grows in here including setting seed.so folks can fallow along.

Well I will be taking the mini meth Tomorrow @ 75 days. I would like to let her go another 5-7 but the big one is flopping onto her this could cause mold as the buds bump uglys. One of the reasons I grow sativa dom most the time is i'm physically unable to get under the screen to keep em as clean as i should. Well not really unable but man it hurts and is more work than i would like to admit. the other reason I like sativas is they are good for helping fight the depression and frustration of shit like that! anyway there's limits to mold resistance.see y'all tomorrow

They look good for you having "problems" the lucas formula is still strange to me with the limited res changing but I am slowly coming on board lol

I slept in today. just chopped the Mini Meth. Again this camera sucks but here are some prelim pics. ill get some more up once I trim. overall I'm happy as hell.this plant is small but for being so, so damn far from the main light and then buried by her sister she performed well above what I would have expected. Im hoping for 3 dry OZ from her. I normally average 6 a plant. ya some go 4 & some go 8-10 but average is about 6 per plant or 12 per grow.I get the occasional biggie like last grow I pulled just north of 16 OZ.

Starting to add back strait water for the other one tomorrow she only has 2 weeks left. I don't let anything go more than 90 days
