OLD REVIEWS Barney's Farm: Sin Tra Bajo Auto

:eyebrows: I look forward to those Reports brudda! Post up some dry-porn too :hump:-- Think Fast is already on the list of strains for next season,...
... Dinafem isn't one that I've followed much, until they started here, though they are a pretty storied breeder,... Bomb is too new, period, though so far so good,... I'm considering the sheer volume of the body of documented stuff when I spout off like that!

Yeah bomb is pretty new for sure, but they sure do have some nice genetics from what I have seen and smoked! A local friend of mine turned me onto bomb, and I was really happy when they agreed to send a rep here! I cant wait to try out their strains next year(widow bomb, atomic, medibomb 2, cherry bomb auto)
I will get on doing full med/grow report on each of the strains I grew out this season. Just been waiting for it to proper cure before I get to reports.(which is now...curing nicely!)

me too! The Acapulco Gold pheno'1 is getting a trippy blend of aromatics-- something akin to banana bubblegum and incense-..the other pheno is quite different, dominated by an astringent citrusy aroma,.. but both hit with both fists!:dizzy: Even as dicey as Barney's can be, this one is worth the gamble my friend...:pass:

You know I kind of feel that way about many of barneys strains...seems like they can be hit or miss but an awful lot of folks seems to be hitting rather than missing!! I for one am looking forward to seeing how their Pineapple Express compares to the other companies Pineapple express...looking forward to Queen of the Pineapples comparison grow between barneys, G-13 labs and Fastbuds.
Ive always wanted to give their Acapulco a go, but our outdoor season is far too short from what I recall.
Edit - hey can you tag or link me to your outdoor grow journal if you have one?

SeedBank :

Barney's Farm

Strain:

Sin Tra Bajo Auto (Mazari x Lowrider 1#)

Did it autoflower?:

Yes, at day 30.

Soil/hydro:

11 liter square plastic pots (black), Plagron Light Mix, pre-watered with pH adjusted water.

Nutes:

Biobizz Grow, Bloom, TopMax, Alg-a-Mic and Advanced Nutrient's Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra

Light (kind and schedule):

1x Galaxy Hydro 300W LED on 24/0.

From seed to harvest date: 74 days

Dry Yield: ~180g from four plants, Avg. 45g per plant.

High/Effect Duration:

The initial high last roughly an hour, hour and a half. Depending on the dosage and way of use, the stony sedating effects can last anywhere between 4 to 12+ hours. If used before going to bed, you'll feel extremely refreshed and aware once you wake up.

In-depth

The effects start off quickly with light, relaxing head and body high, which turn after roughly one hour into very sedating feelings of calm. The high begins all over the body with this feeling of lightness, followed by occasional heatwaves in different parts of the body (face, spine, legs). In social conditions, it makes people very relaxed, giggly and sometimes pretty unresponsive. I find the medicinal value of this strain to be high, as it's pain relief is quick and also works on nausea and sleep problems.

RATE SCALE:* - *****
Euphoria: 3,5/5
Medicinal: 5/5

BAG APPEAL:****

Tight, stiff dark buds, intricately woven-through with rich orange pistils.

THE GROWTH:*****

It's an extremely tolerant strain. It went through with extreme heat, wrong water pH for over a month, inconsistent nutrient dosages, underwatering and it still manages to pull through strong. I haven't experienced any rot or pest problems.

THE SMELL:*****

Citrus fruit notes followed by herbal aromas.

THE SMOKE:****

Smooth rich smoke, you can taste some of the citrus fruit while exhaling.

THE HIGH:*****

Energetic initial high followed by heavy stoned, sedated relaxed feelings. Dry mouth and increased appetite.

Hi TehSnow
Nice review thanks for sharing.

>> TehSnow-- The choices for good strains is huge these days, but from what I've seen, the best in quality all around has been Mephisto, Sweet, Dutch Passion and FastBuds,... Mephisto is amazing, still a tiny company with giant skills and stellar genetics! :hump:

I want to try some of the red family line from Sweet Seeds, they fiddled around with the genetics and 80%> of the phenos turn red or purplish without you having to stress them out.

Hey what proof is the Alpa Francovka? We make the everclear tincture using 190proof everclear grain alcohol and its amazing.

I chose Alpa Francovka because it's a traditional czech brand that goes back to 1903, and the solution itself already has medicinal properties, it's 60% alcohol pumped full of etheric and essential oils, natural menthol and herbs. Everyone has at least one bottle at home here.

I found an english link to the product, for your info, http://www.alpa.cz/en/massage-formulations/embrocation/182-alpa-francovka

:headbang: Excellent choices there Teh', the Red Family is all winners! Bloody Skunk and Red Poison are my fav's, but all get rave reviews, even the ones that don't express the colors... they usually have different aromatic profiles, and some found them to be even more potent! The (expressed) Reds all have an overlap in their aromatic profile, at least that I've found; my nose knows instantly when it in a jar of Sweet Reds :eyebrows:..unique! And the color depth is stunning, you hate to harvest them because they are sooo beautiful,... here's a little Bloody Skunk from last year, and look up Hansbricks past grows for Red Poison, he's mastered that one! -->

I almost drove myself nut picking strains for next years outdoor grow when choosing sweets strains...so much great looking and sounding pot, it was a really tough call!! I ended up choosing Devil Cream auto, Crème Mandarin XXL auto, Mohan Ram Photo, Jack 47 FV photo.

ooOOooo, Mo'Ram is on my list too! Never even an average review of that one, it's a total gem! So is SAD,... I hear J47 is their full-on velvet hammer strain, very very potent! I'm considering Ganesh Spirit, Psicodelicia, and Crystal Candy as well,... Crm. Mandarine is one of their all time Champ's,..:eyebrows:
Anybody can chat with Sweet Tommy and JayP, they're excellent super friendly rep's and will happily offer inputs on anything you ask, so chat them up if you're on the fence on choices ... Crm. Mandarine is Jayp's fav, but Green Poison is right there too! Didn't I talk that one up with you already? It's my fav. Sweet, and the F1FV is the best version according to them, though all are close in phenotype, very stable!
