New Grower bangarang!!!!! ph problem!

hello,

growing in soil and have a problem with my runoff pH. cannot get it above 5.8 for the life of me. I pH my water to above 8 or 9 and still cannot get the runoff above 5.8.

soil - half ffof and half happy frog.

also i got what i believe was a cal/mag lockout and got it under control but some of the new growth is showing little bits of rusting here and there.

im on week six from popping out of the soil.

nirvanas bubbleicious auto fem.

if anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate it!!

its an auto so i cannot transplant and im too far away from any hydro stores. also if i didnt have to wait to order something online that would be nice as well.

im all about trying to nip it in the butt as quickly as possible.

Go to home depot or Lowe's or something like that they sell garden lime by Epsoma,it's not as fast acting as powdered dolomite lime. As it's pelletized dolomite lime. But you can crush it Down or use it as is and top dress the pot with it. And add quite a bit of water as to saturate the soil In the lime

how much would you suggest using with 5 gallon pots?

i was planning to get cal/mag as well. do you think i should hold off a couple of days until the soils appropriately ph'd?
