Welcome to every new grower like me, I have done this before but never had a succesfull seed to harvest.
There was always something holding me back.
This will now be my 3rd attempt to making this work and any good advice is gold for now.

So for my 3rd and final attempt I am attempting the following.
As an inexperienced grower I always use bagseed cause it would be a waste buying fem seeds and messing it up .

I have plenty diffrent strains that I have gathered over the years but it is abit mixed in categories so we wont be sure what we have until mostly harvest time.

As you can see my regular weed AKA " swazi, malawi, skunk" always had more seeds than I could count.
My medium weed AKA " widdow, cheese, kush" only had a few seeds

And my premium weed AKA " chronic, amnesia and Pineapple express" barely had any seeds in the bankies.

I am starting off with 10 party cups hoping to end with at least 3 females.

For germing them, just added some water and closed it in black bags stored in the garage, will have a look see in about 7 days.

On our next topic we will look into what I am gonna use for this grow in terms of equipment and maintenance.

To be continued.....

Hey bro Welcome to The Forum

I hope things go a little bit better for you this time. Most Growers like to start off with female seeds and usually when you get bagseed these days it's a female plant that hermied and pollinated a female plant meaning you'll probably have 10 female plants there.

No reason why you can't be successful you'll get a lot of good advice here on the Forum, especially if you get involved in live Stoners discussion Etc

Think I will wait 7 days before taking a peek into the seed box... let them be and do what they do best.

Since I started this adventure I have learned so much about the needs of weeds and had to do some upgrades.

Building your own grow box is time consuming and never works the way it was intended to.

So I did a few upgrades.

My DIY grow space was tight and way too smalll for my next adventure

So I got this Bad Boy....

Next... My old intake and exhaust was shitty and needed some replacement.

Was actually looking for the Pro Silent series but had to settle for this 1 due to budget
4" silent inline fan

Alot lighter than the other inline fans, so that should be a Plus

It did not come with a speed control but it has 2 speed settings when connecting the wirring and left it on high.

Correct me if I am wrong but when having an extraction fan you gonna need a inlet fan to push air in otherwise the negative pressure in the tent will be too much for the plants to survive.

So this shitty fan was my previous extractor fan.
Its a 4" and should hopefully push enough air in to balance the negative pressure.

Looks like you're getting your kit together. I'm glad I'm not in your shoes trying to pick up everything I think I'm going to need on a budget. It's taken me a few years to build up to where I am now.

I completely lost whatever it was I intended to say. But anyway you know it doesn't matter whether you have passive intake or powered intake. The plants I think we'll always have enough CO2. It's the roots that need the oxygen. I used to run a powered intake when I needed the extra air movement to help keep things cool. Now I just have an extra large fan pulls so much air that It infiltrates in from Outdoors no smells Escape.

Oh yeah in typical Stoner fashion I remembered what I was going to say. You said something about keeping your seedlings in the Box for 7 days before you look at them, if you mean wrapped up in that plastic bag I wouldn't do that. I doubt that's what you meen but you're going to want have air movement the second those things pop up out of the soil. Not a lot just enough to keep from damping off or getting powdery mildew

LOL [emoji23][emoji23], I was actually planning on leaving them in there for 7 days.
Will have a look see today.
So it is actually not such a good idea to leave them covered even after they have sprouted.
I learn something new everyday, was thinking they need high humudity to kick start growth.

Getting new grow equipment is like having Christmas. I dont like weed, I love weed [emoji7].
