New Grower Baby steps and the cultivation of autoflowers

keep updating your journal a few words n pics every few days or weekly, plenty of good growers round here will chip in and keep you right.
good luck n keep er lit.
:pighug:
Agreed.. That is hands down the best way to have a collection of data available should things to wrong at some point. Some of the best growers in the world are here, and everyone is amazingly helpful.

My first visit to this site was trying to diagnose a problem I was having with my very first grow. Why I chose DWC to start with is another story.... Something I probably would have lost without the help here turned into a 1/4 pound of glorious little chunks of happy.

Thanks for help and support and all. I'm gonna need all the help I can get. I'm in mud I cooked for last years lilies. Slugs ate the lilies, so I grew beans instead. Mulched the stalks into the ground. Fairly viable, I'd think, but I don't see me harvesting a quarter pound ;)
Stoneware or somesuch square, tapered pots, roughly 5L, I guess. Maybe.
I have been reading some journals, and the spirit and general vibe of this place got me.
Thanks again!

So yeah, that's but put mildly. I have grown crappy photos before, loooooong time ago. They were crappy. Sorta put me off of growing. All in on the autos now, full tilt and cowabunga, or whatnot.

My mission statement and thus the ultimate goal for this grow is this: To kill the plant deliberately when it is ready.

Baby steps.

Organic soil, I'm thinking water only, at least until the soil becomes so lean I have to reconsider.
I will put in the effort to produce some pics, I hope. No journal is complete without them, I find.
Small improvised greenhouse on the balcony. Full disclosure: I might get paranoid and end this prematurely and never grow again until I have an indoor option. But for now, a Sweet seeds S.A.D. is waiting to get the transplant to the bigger outdoor pot, away from the windowsill and into the sun.
Subbed. I too am starting a minimalist grow (using pure water) and doing full outdoor grow in pots.

I'm in, good to see you started your journal. How did you get on with the Mephisto samples?? It's fucking stunning gear eh??
Yes, fucking stunning is an apt description.
I'm smoking tiny little two-toke bowls of the Fugue State every now and then for the sheer taste of her. Brilliant. I have to grow at least one out. I hope. ;)

Yeah, I recall where I put the camera. Well done. So pics not until tomorrow at the earliest. Small spoiler, however: I let her stand in the windowsill for too long before getting her out in the sun, and that's gotten her lanky. Or well. .. She's gotten mighty lanky, and I'm sure it's my fault. ;)

The Girl is getting a dribble of water and a little hood on in the morning before she goes out. I am so inexperienced with these plants, I can't even tell if she likes it. She ain't getting any shorter, though. Looking forward to posting a picture tomorrow and getting told to cull her and try again. :P
