Ok so we will call today day 37ish. The jungle is getting out of hand. I dont like not being able to get to the back plants but due to the odd shaped room i have its something i gotta live with.
And i apoligize for the poor pics but with 600w of gavita glory in a small area overflowing with trees its the best i can do. Heres an idea of how small my room is
Ok so the ladies are running at 600w setting, 21/3 and are just finishing up veg. I started the transition to flower nutes 2 days ago and will slowly taper them off to flower nutes. In a week or so ill do a water change and straight flower nutes from then till flush. I got lazy and didnt give em nutes or water for 3 days. They were down about 10g of water and the ppm went from 700 to 550 so they are happy n hungry gals in this stage.
The back left lil gal is still chugging along, a bit slower than the others but it isnt a race. today i noticed her side branches are trying to push past the massive fan leaves which is the first sign of branches ive seen (even seeing this plant is an issue) so thats neat and shes still the greenest of the bunch, never looking sad or showing any curn burn or anything the other plants showed at times. Easy autopilot plant from mitch and crew, her shape makes me excited because its similar to my all time fav sour crack.
Next up is the back right plant. I confess to some very light lst ponytailing when she was young. Not sure this is entirely to blame but she has incredible shape with very tall side branches. Her main cola is either the 3rd or 5th tallest branch (might even be wrong on which is her cola!) 2nd shortest but stout and looks like she will be a strong yielder with branches to support the weight.
Next we have the front right plant. Genetic mutations a plenty, this gal is an interesting tree. 2nd tallest, id be very impressed with this gal if it werent for 1 thing... her sister next to her. This plant seems to be the pickiest of the bunch showing most leaf curl, a bit of nute burn and overall just a bit higher maintence than her sisters but im not complaining. A "difficult" mephisto bean isnt actually difficult by any stretch of the imagination.
And last but certainly not least we have the beast. Im terrified of when she starts packing on the weight. I hate tieing up plants but im sure she will need it. Her size is causing some issues, shes nearly 4 feet tall out of the bucket and towering over the other plants. Its a compromise between burning her and keeping enough light on the rest of the jungle and she doesnt seem to be stopping. Think i raised my light 2 times this week. She shows no signs of burn despite being very close to the hps (probably barely more than 6"!). Her leaves always seem to be upturned like shes reaching for the sky. Bad news for her is there is a ceiling limiting how much higher she can go.
And a bonus shot. Cant open the buckets to see the roots but if the stems are any indication, i expect a serious root mass. Less than 40 days and already have stems as wide as a bic! This one is the front right, the front left is even bigger but cant get a good view of her stem without cleaning up her undergrowth.
