I got ahold of some azomite from amazon and was wanting to clarify if it would adversly effect my seedlings. I was just gonna mix a small amount of azomite into some jiffy starter mix, hoping it will kick start my baby girls :toke:

You will have no problems adding a little for seedling's I've never had a problem with it. Azomite is great stuff I highly recommend it well worth every penny you spend on it check craigslist you can usually find distributors in your area so you don't have to pay crazy shipping on big bags.

thanks L3V3R i actually just got a 2lb bag of micronized azomite for $16 of amazon

No problem I get 44 pound bags locally for $40 I couldn't find it anywhere then I searched craigslist and there was a place close 30 miles away.

thats alot of azomite. Down here in the south we got nothin but chalk mines round where i live

I live in the south :D

do you guys use a silica suppliment in addition to azomite or is the 65% silica of azomite enough?

As it just add trace minerals I don't think you'd use enough to work for the plants silica need. Probably not soluble enough for easy plant uptake.
