AutoSeeds Summer 2023 Grow & Show

Mid Flower
  • Calyxes are starting to take shape, and I now have visible trichomes. Mid Flower officially.

    She's stopped getting taller.

Now the fattening begins in earnest.

    Mid flower
  • Acapulco Gold is getting to be a good size and building some flowers. It’s been a one of the hardest years I’ve weathered, possibly the worst so far, but I’m hoping we’re on the up and I do believe I am.
This is a tough plant, and in spite of plenty of issues and drought it is pushing on admirably.

    Late flower and harvest
  • The Autoseeds.com outdoor collection is coming to an end. Going to start harvesting them today and over the next couple weeks. They all grew well and turned out very nice but the strange thing is the outdoor plants matured so much faster than what I have growing indoors even though the indoor girls all showed signs of flower first. The plants must really like it outside as they passed up the indoor girls in a big way and beating them to harvest… big difference in flowering time.
A lot of work so far getting these plants to where they are now but the payoff will be well worth it when they’re finally done. Hauling hundreds of gallons of water and mixing all the nutes to feed these girls over the past few months has definitely been a chore. Next season I’ll plan on making my life a little easier and veg the outdoor girls hard with synthetic nutrients then cut the nutes around the second week of flower and have them run on dry amendments for the rest of the grow. I don’t have it worked out yet but also planning on some sort of automated irrigation system to water everything so I can put the Home Depot buckets to rest. Lol!

Going to start with harvesting my 77 Day old stunted little Acapulco Gold growing in a .75 gallon container, she has a slight bit of caterpillar damage on one of the buds but overall she turned out well. Her buds are extremely dense and she should produce a decent amount even though she spent her whole life in a small container and had a very rough beginning.

My other stunted 77 day old Acapulco Gold growing in a 2 gallon plastic grow bag will be cut down a few days after the first.
Hard to tell that under all those leaves there are extremely dense colas as well.

Next one to get the chop is a 96 day old Rainbow Glue. She is a big beautiful girl with some ginormous colas on her.

Day 63 for the 3 Pink Runtz
The colas are already rock hard but I’m going to give them an extra 10-14 days to fatten up a little more.

Here is bit of caterpillar damage.
The cannabis eating caterpillars would have definitely eaten the whole crop alive by now and I would have ended up with nothing if it wasn’t for all the preventative BT Thuricide applications.

    Late Flower
  • Day 82 - Acapulco Gold, Pink Runtz, Rainbow Glue

I'd say all 3 strains are in late flower minus Acapulco Gold, AG plants are still all white pistils and just getting bigger. I think Pink Runtz will finish 1st as 1 of her plants is already finished while the other needs a week or so more. Rainbow Glue plants need 2-3 more weeks i'd say while AG need another 3-4 weeks.

All 3 strains are a pleasure to grow and are all making huge nice smelling buds, i can't wait to chop em all down and try them all out.

    Harvest
  • Bummer. :oops1:@Autoseeds.com. @Mañ'O'Green. :shrug:The Pink Runtz developed bud rot. after 7 weeks of unrelenting humidity of over 90%, every day. and rain almost every day. i salvaged most of the bud, broke her down and separated all the branch's . i lost about two ounces dry. the other two strains look ok, one of the rainbow glue is almost done, i will watch her carefully over the next week or two. have my fingers crossed there is no spread,
