I have a 74 day old AG and it has whole larf bud sites....and super airy.... I never have this issue...maybe it's going to take 120+ days....I like fast big producers....

Maybe that particular strain needs a higher intensity light. That's the problem with growing multiple strains in the same tent. They all have different needs. I am learning to grow like minded strain's.

Day 26 for the 2 Rainbow Glues and Acapulco Gold

Got a little crowded in the 4x2’ tent so I moved the Acapulco Gold into her own home. She’s now being housed in a Spider Farmer 27x27x65” tent where she will hopefully be spending the remainder of her life as long as she doesn’t grow out of it. She has a $49 150 watt Chinmoon light hanging above her and a $119 240 watt Farmlite above the Chinmoon waiting on standby for when it’s needed. I’m always on a quest to grow nice plants with some of the cheapest lights I can find on the market. Lol!
The main tops on the 3 plants have been pinned down and kept horizontal with a bent coat hanger for about 12 days which created a nice canopy with over 14 prominent top nodes and plenty of strong side branching. The bent coat hangers served their purpose for the last couple weeks and now it’s time to do some horizontal training with a 3” nylon SCROG net. I do have enough plants to run a nice SOG grow but from growing these cultivars before I already know the plants will grow large and not ideal for the SOG method but perfect for SCROG. I don’t want to run into any problems by not having enough head space in the tents I’m planning on using so really need to concentrate on keeping the girls low and wide to pull the maximum potential out of the plants.

This 68 day old Acapulco Gold just went into beast mode after the last schwazz… her canopy is over 33” in diameter and has over 60 main top colas forming on her. If every goes well she should produce some decent weight.

Days 29/30 in the great wide open. Looking pretty good so far. Rainbow glue is surprising me by being the tallest girl! Thought she’d be more in the indica side. All looking good so far. Had a lot of rain this week so won’t need a water for a bit

Time to pull the main tops over.

Day 29 for the 2 Rainbow Glues
Time to remove the bent coat hanger stakes, move them into their final home and flatten them out

About 3 weeks old. Still not showing sex yet.

It's going to get full in there soon.

Day 31 - Acapulco Gold, Pink Runtz, Rainbow Glue


It has almost been a week since my last update and all of the girls are now needing a haircut which i gave them. I need to move the lights up but I have a little runt (funny because it happens to be a Pink Runtz) i am thinking about culling so everyone else can be happy. She is growing nice but she decided to stay 6-7 inches tall so not much i can do other than yanking her and repotting her somewhere else.

I dumped in 10 gallons of 650ppm Megacrop at 5.8ph and as normal they sucked it up and seem to want more but i'll make them wait a few more days.

Oh, worth mentioning, I've snapped(and taped) 2 stems now on the AG. I've never had a strain snap as easily as this one, so e careful.

And yes I'm feeding silica every watering.

Noted, I have only trimmed up the AG girls no bending or training but I will keep that in mind later on if they get huge and I need to train them.

lol I'm a orgy pot grower if i have the seeds to do it. I think on the next grow and show i do I'll just do 1 seed per pot to be more uniform with the other testers.


I'm temped to yank out that runt every time I check on the plants, I'm doing my best to just leave it alone and maybe it will be one of those short super fat nug plants
