I got in big debate are photoperiods waaay morepotent than autoflowers?? i'm still novice gower, i have 1 indoor gor and one outdoor gorw behind me and all were autoflower, so im interested what are you thinking?
I looked into this a few months ago.
For a handful of breeders, I compared the thc% listed for autos and photos having the same name from the same breeder.
I lost patience after about 2 dozen different strains.
The average photo was about 18%, and the average auto was about 16%.
It appears that photos are about 10% stronger than autos on average, about the same as the percentage ruderalis genes in autos.

Take it all with a grain of salt bud...I have smoked some of the highest professionally grown THC percentages available(32.7%), and you know what? I get more of a psychological impact off Dutch Passions Durban POison which is rated at a measly 14%.....and I was not the only one that smoked both that agreed with that statement.

The term "potent" is subjective. It means different things to different people. Some have higher tolerances than others.. Three people can smoke the same joint and get three different effects. Thats the beauty of cannanibis, thc and cannabinoids, and all of its strains and crosses. Find a few you feel are potent, amd work well for you, whether photo or auto, and grow em!

Yes and no..

Realistically no.

Photo Bros don't get left behind, I get more from less with autos

I would say they are on par with each other now, the Mephisto boys are proving that and plenty of others... its just that the menu for high strength photo strains is a lot bigger, so they out way the auto's with the numbers and people may think that this an argument.
Give it 10yrs of the modern home grown market and legalization / decriminalization across the world, photo's will be confined to commercial production / old timers g'room only.
The auto is the future of home growing.

+1 for guys that grow outdoors with limited plant counts and want to maximize their harvests.
