New Grower Autos on 12/12?

Sorry, i thought you were going to grow a photo on 12/12 from the start so it would shorten the time till harvest and still get a decent yield.
Thats why i posted. Just for thought.
And i agree all strains are different, just what im seeing now, food for thought.
My bad
Sorry

That is what I am going to do. I currently have 3 Autos going at only 2 weeks and I just picked up 3 clone photos. I will transplant them tommorrow and let them root for a week or so and then flip those bad girls. I did this on my last photo run - I flipped two over to 12/12 from a 4" clone pot. They didn't get large, but one produced over 2 oz of super dank ass smoke. So if I am taking care of them they should produce as much as the autos in the same amount of time. I just don't have time right now to try to start some more seeds.

Did you start the photo from a seed or clone? My clones are teens.. about a foot high or so. I will top them if needed and flip them into 12/12 in about a week.

Hey blessed, im kinda in a similar situation.
I started a photo on 20/4, had to hurry things up so after 30 days i switched to 12/12.
well its now 3 weeks and still no change over to flower yet.
I think its still going to be a 4 month grow or more, switching didnt seem to affect her much except she's growing wide not tall.
hoping that changes some when she finially switches.
And i've been running flower nutes too.
good luck

I grow autos and photos together all the time I just have always a spare dark area for the photos to go in ,I know it's not ideal and it cost more but I run my rudys on 24 ,l call it the Keefer stonerland technique.

Following this! I have limited space and want to try some photos. I was thinking of doing what @dankstyle does and creating a separate light-tight chamber adjacent to my tent for the flowering photo.?

I planted from seed. I thought it was an auto, then found out it was a photo.
Wanted to be done by nov. 30 but its been 3 weeks scince i flipped and still no sign of hairs.
So im thinking its going to probably take into the new year.
Next weekend will be 2 months now.
Sure as shit its going to take at least 2more months which is going to make the holidays very interesting.
Gotta go buy some ona crystals !!!

If you stay on a vegetative light schedule you can get the best of both. It will allow the autos to develop right, then you can immediately bloom the photo. You will have time to do a perfect scrog on the photoperiod while it waits its turn. It might not just mess up yield but also potency if you switch the autos.

Real easy to do cupboards, closets work extremely well even a big cardboard box would work.
