Autos Haven’t Switched to Flower?

My neighbor buys his seeds from attitude, I want to say. He's gotten two separate orders where this happened - supposed to be photos but he rec'd autos. Starting to think the "single-seed" places are employing highly inebriated folks who are getting stuff confused!

Here’s a little update on the now fully flowering solo cup photos!

My first grow this year was a mislabeled auto, put it on at the start of April and after 6 weeks no sign of buds.
Rather than bin it I stuck it outside and almost 6 months later it's started to bud and must be 7ft tall which I've had to lst as it was in danger of poking it's head over the garden fence.

Did not wake up to good things. Thought I spied a few pollen sacs checking these girls a couple nights ago, and sure enough, woke up to a fuck-ton of nanners this morning. I just don’t have it in me to deal with another pollinated harvest, so these two are going in the bin this evening!

I feel pretty safe in assuming this wasn’t entirely my fault. These seeds were freebies, from an unknown source, included with an order from a reputable distributor. I had been under the impression they were autos, but it turns out they were definitely photoperiod seeds. Leaving them in these solo cups, and vegging for over 6 weeks before flipping likely sucked up all the nutes the FFOF had to offer and likely rootbound the plants. They’ve had claw leaf for awhile too, and nothing I tried seemed to fix it.

Oh well. Live and learn. Everyday is a school day, innit?

I couldn’t resist chopping heads and seeing what happens, but the rest of these girls went bye-bye. Plenty of trichomes on these, but all looked clear, no cloud, and still with white pistils. I’m not picky and I’m not proud. I’m really curious about these too, because there was an amazing citrus note coming off both STRONG. And to make up for the loss I started a new bean in a coco coir pellet and the last of my FFOF, this one CLEARLY LABELED as an auto from a known bank with good rep! Pyramid Seeds Auto Purple coming in the following weeks, let’s go!!!
