Grow Mediums AutoPot - Brand new 2017 Model ??

Hey folks, some of the AutoPot retailers are touting a "Brand new 2017 Model." But they don't say what's new or different, and the pictures/descriptions seem the same. I can't find any reference on AutoPot's UK or USA web-site to confirm a new 2017 model. In fact, their brochures still say "2016." Since I'm about to invest in an AutoPot setup, I just want to make the most informed decision about whether I'm getting close-outs or something new and improved. Anybody know what this is all about?

They are suppose to release the Auto Pots in white plastic, more sutible of greenhouse grows to reduce heat in the rootzone. They are not released yet that I know of. Noother changes I've heard of

Ah, thanks Pop22. I guess this Amazon ad is just another example of "alternative facts," 'cause neither the 60 gal flexitank nor the pots are new. I feel comfortable moving forward with getting ready for an AutoPot grow with good ole 2016 gear.

did you go to the autopot USA site? I buy direct as pricing is usually the same or better than amazon, and it makes getting support if you need it easier

Yeh, I''ve been all over this site, and I agree, their direct to consumer pricing is very attractive. I only quoted the Amazon ad to show where I saw the "New for 2017" hype. In fact, seems to me that Amazon has very little AutoPot gear and sucko pricing.
But in looking around, I did find a site called: www.hydroempire.com and they are offering the best deal I could find:

They've been available in white in the UK for a while, not that many stockists have them though. It is purely the color though, nothing else has changed, all the parts are interchangeable with the black ones.

Thanks KushDog. I think you and Pop have put this one to bed. And, by the way, I'll be buying direct from AutoPot USA, 'cause that great deal I quoted above is a red herring -- they're "out of stock."
