once you have a male flower on you plant, you can either set that plant to the side and let it pollinate itself and any others you want, or you can loosely tie a plastic bag around the limb with the flower and catch the pollen, or cut the limb after mail flower is fair sized, but not opened yet, set that limb in a glass of water, flower hanging over the side, pot plastic wrap or something under it to catch the pollen, then use a small paint brush to apply pollen to buds,,,, best applied about 4 weeks into flowering, gives you another 6-10 weeks for the plant to be ready to be pulled, buds with the seeds just set aside, after dry, pick out seeds and let them dry a while, at least a month before planting, hope I answered your questions, and you are welcome
