I honestly haven't the slightest idea, I've just been admiring the growth!

yep..I just double checked..basically its just sugar (carbs).



Brix (symbol °Bx) is the sugar content of an aqueous solution

Brix is a term popularized by Carey Reams. When used on plant sap it is primarily a measure of the carbohydrate level in plant juices.

So is it just a sugar syrup they're using? Molasses, sugar beet syrup, maple syrup? XD I don't know that I'm picking up what you're laying down.

I'm sure there's more to it but basically they are feeding their plants with sugar. could be any type of sugar.. I know the molasses I use is "high brix plant molasses" so I'm technically doing a high brix super soil grow every time

Hmm.. I'll have to do some reading up on the subject. So is Brix just the hot new buzzword, in your opinion? Have you noticed a difference between high brix and regular molasses? Thanks for the info!

kinda yeah... don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking high brix grows. I love my high brix molasses but imo you need more than just a lot of sugar.. without using super soil (or just organics) a high brix feeding schedule is a waste and growing organically without high brix is not doing all you can for your soil/plants

Evol Its Based alot on Sugars...
I use Honey A Bit in the grow....

Also those fermentation of Gils Has Sugars in most. if U use the Bananna and Melons Thats Immuno boost From Brix As well

wow I guess I am doing more high brix then I thought. I use all of Gils recipes as well as a few of my own along with super soil.. poop and sugar the keys to a successful grow..

Cantelope , Watermelon , bannaa peels ..Turbinado Sugar. ..thats acto Bacsilis ..

Those Melons Willl Rots into a Sugar based Solution...Makes them Excede expectations ...cal/phos included ....Ba Boom

I made a few different combos but didn't try much melon.. the ones I make that use Pineapple skin give the best flavor imo

Looking into Turbinado sugar now...
