Autoflower growtent help.

Hey everyone, my name is Landon and i live in oklahoma with my girlfriend. I have had a huge passion for growing for a while and have done a good bit outdoor/indoor but never autoflower but i just recently bought a 5x5foot grow tent, a ventilation system and a 450W spider farmersf4000 led. I also have 20 autoflower seeds on the way. I was wondering how much do you think i would be able to fit in the tent?

You will probably get 5-10 different answers.. But I always answer this the same way.. Imo, as many as you can properly care for. It's kinda like buying a 5 bedroom house and then asking how many children you and your wife should have, when neither of you have had a child. So yeah, my answer is grow as many as you have the time to properly care for. There aren't many worst feelings for a new auto grower than planting a full tent, then having the entire grow go south in the first 45 days..

Thank you for your reply! I really am new to autoflowers but I have all the time in the world to care for the plants. I work for a startup weed farm and grow weed at my house.I have 5 outdoors that are experimental and all over 8ft. I just do not know the general sizing of autoflowers in comparison to photo plants.

Sizing is pretty strain dependent, and has some of your grow style and expertise tossed in. There's some small strains, like 18 to 20 inches tall, and there are some much larger (fill a 4x4) strains as well... and soil? Coco? DWC? All affect the end size.

In a 4x4 I shoot for 6 plants in soil (3 gall) 3 or 4 plants in coco (strain dependent I've had a couple monsters). Or 9 of one of the smaller strains. You need to look at the info from your breeder, and then look for someone that's grown the strain, should give you an idea of size.

Thanks for your reply. I think im going to use 3gal fabric pots with happy frog soil with a small layer of hydroton clay pebbles in the bottom for better drainage. The only information on the strain height is 80cm to 110cm which is 31 to 43 inches. I dont know if that is big for autoflower. I have a 5x5 tent so i want to make the most of it. Just trying to be educated.

i agree 4 plants can easily fill my 4x4 in coco also it depends on your pot size

same here but opposite I've never grown in soil also you will smash this mate with your photo background and these autos are so much easier with 18/6 that's what i run mine also nice to meet you growbro
