It is definitely not needed. I haven't used it yet, but I plan on ordering some in the future. But I am using MC and BE and I am amazed at the results.

I’m no expert but all I added was a pk booster of my own, which caused a small problem because of the extra N that was in there and I had to back down the MC a little. I now have and will be using their BE in the future as it has no extra N.
According to greenleaf none of the additives are needed besides calmag. Most are adding the supplements regardless. I’d be a little cautious with the bud explosion with their new PK levels. It appears to be some very strong stuff
Since using MC and sweetcandy..and Autocobs from @BigSm0 , I haven't looked back or looked at other nutrients or lights for that matter. Getting great yields, no deficiencies. Iam not trying to break records, just want great stuff in my jars, and the boy and girls @Greenleaf Nutrients have delivered time and time again ..So why fix something that's not broke.
I will admit, that I have notice some strains burn easier than others, but once again MC is so easy to use, you just mix less or dilute what you have left, no hard calculations, mixing this and that. Easy like Sunday morning.

I think most will agree it’s the best nutrient line to hit the market. I LOVE it. My schedule is simple, 2g per gallon in early veg, 3g in late veg and 4d when flower hits.
Agreed with bigsmo here. Great line I’m adding bud explosion have sweet candy and will not replace hen out. But I will be ordering more bud explosion and mega crop.
I experimented with osmocote+, obviously flushing would be basically impossible with this in the medium and the flavor is fine. Just as I can't taste subtle differences in wines I think the flavor difference of unflushed eludes me too, which is fine by me.
