I've been running an experiment this last grow with the mainline technique. I had 2 gorilla glue autos from fast buds and 2 gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] autos from expert buds.
When I say mainline, I mean keeping only one node once the plant has about 5 or 6 (I usually keep the 2nd or 3rd one, depending on the plant.)
So my experiment was to see the difference between a single mainline and a double mainline (keeping 2 nodes on instead of one.)
I used each technique on both strains to see the difference. Sadly, the single mainline Gorilla glue never made it. She was a mutant, and was growing quite oddly.
I have already harvested the gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4s[/HASHTAG], and so far the double mainline technique is the way to go yield wise. I got 66g off the single mainline, and 121g off the double Mainline.
I have the gorilla glue auto double mainline still going (at 100 days now), and she's a beast. Definitely gonna be my heaviest yielder to date. I'll have pics of that when she comes down.
Anyway, here are some beauty pics of the harvests. Enjoy!

This is the double mainline stem. I don't have a pic of the single sadly.
