Lighting AutoCob, Auto Flower, megacrop thread.

I'll mention another option you might really like. Mosquito dunks work great for killing bug larvae. you would throw in a quarter of a donut in to your buckets. No mess like DE. Wont harm plants.

Thanks, I was just gonna mention those. I grow in soil and always throw a couple hand fulls of good EWC in for bennies, one of the two always brings me GNATS. So I've learned a 1/8-1/4 Dunk grated with a fine cheeze grater on top of each pot and then play sand, about 1/2 inch deep on top to start. Always have sticky traps ta boot seems to kick their ass if I'm on it right off the bat. When not, in the beginning, I would make a tea with them for a kick start. May have to sprinkle a little more sand on top as it will work it's way in a bit also.

That's what I've done too. Including adding EWC to coco -- won't do that again actually. But I've ground up the dunks too and sprinkled on top and watered in to the pot. Works great at killing the bug larvea. And preventing it so you can just add to your pots at the start. Or if hydro add to buckets.

Can be used as a preventive thing too. They last 30 days so you put a small chunk in the bucket every 30 days.

Oh yeah I am ordering those too actually. Just forgot to mention it. Contains bt I believe and very effective. Once a young plant is well established you dry the water below the net pot and let the grow medium dry up also. I'm not sure if theyre coming from my drain hole in my basement. I put some bleach crystals and poured some physan 20 down It this morning. Plan on boiling water and dumping it down drain daily and also vinegar. I think that's where there breeding. In the stagnant water in the drain. Maybe throw a dunk in the drain also when I get them

I've been running an experiment this last grow with the mainline technique. I had 2 gorilla glue autos from fast buds and 2 gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] autos from expert buds.

When I say mainline, I mean keeping only one node once the plant has about 5 or 6 (I usually keep the 2nd or 3rd one, depending on the plant.)

So my experiment was to see the difference between a single mainline and a double mainline (keeping 2 nodes on instead of one.)

I used each technique on both strains to see the difference. Sadly, the single mainline Gorilla glue never made it. She was a mutant, and was growing quite oddly.

I have already harvested the gorilla glue [HASHTAG]#4s[/HASHTAG], and so far the double mainline technique is the way to go yield wise. I got 66g off the single mainline, and 121g off the double Mainline.

I have the gorilla glue auto double mainline still going (at 100 days now), and she's a beast. Definitely gonna be my heaviest yielder to date. I'll have pics of that when she comes down.

Anyway, here are some beauty pics of the harvests. Enjoy!
