Lighting AutoCob, Auto Flower, megacrop thread.

My CKS NL auto is going NUTS under the Cob! She busted out of my 3' x 2' x 5.5' tent and so I got a bigger tent and she's busting out of it too!

I better get a bunch of big buds after all this promising build up!

I had this happen to me this last grow

This is only my 3rd grow. It has been one big experiment for me. There are a lot of firsts:
1.) First time with Mephisto Double Grape
2.) First time with DWC
3.) First time with Mega Crop beginning to end.
4.) First time with autocobs beginning to end.

Maybe I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.
You're braver than I , me I'm just gonna stick with soil DWC scares me. Looking great for your 1st try :woohoo1:

From what I’ve seen you’ll be able to swallow at the end don’t worry lol. Keep doing what your doing.

You beat me by 2 hours. I was going to reply the same exact thing.

I’ve seen what he can do and is doing already in the bucket so yeah I think he’s got it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, fellas. However, as the old saying goes: There’s many a slip ‘twixt the cup and the lip. I’ll celebrate once she’s in the jars. I am confident in the choices I’ve made, though. Mephisto, Mega Crop in DWC and autocobs...it’s almost as easy as following the recipe on the side of a mac & cheese box.

Well deserved Tarzan.

Now you may change my mind  I'm gonna watch and learn for sure
@Dabber - since this was an experiment for me, I tried to keep it cheap. I bought a $3 bucket at Home Depot along with a $2.50 netpot lid, a $4 air stone, a $12 air pump, some $3.50 air tubing and $5 hydroton at the hydroponics shop. I had some Hydroguard on hand because I used it in some Hempy buckets to prevent root rot. So...what’s the total cost? $30. If you already have any of this stuff, your cost will be less.

Basically, all I’ve been doing so far is one reservoir per week. In that reservoir, it just like mixing up a batch of nutes. Add 2 mL per gallon of Hydroguard. pH to 5.8. That’s it. Later, I suspect she’ll drink faster, but my process will still be the same. Very little muss and fuss. I do not top up the reservoir because I’m trying to keep it simple. Sure, I’ve thrown out some nutes (actually I water some landscaping with it), but that’s not cost prohibitive with the Greenleaf line.

I’ve not run into any issues yet. I check the pH twice a day - once before work and once when I get home. Mega Crop and the Greenleaf supplements hold pH within 0.2 all week long without any problems whatsoever. So far I’ve not run into any problems. Like I said...easy peasy.
