@MedCzech Do you hang the whole plant or branches?

Mephisto strains are different, they are all north of 20% thc, and have much higher trichomes levels than ever before seen in autos. These plants don't require the same treatment. They can be dried properly when cut with enough stem connected so they buds won't dry too fast. Optimal will have buds dry in four to seven days if left in room between 40 and 50% RH will air circulation. I use my tent to control this atmosphere, the same as I do during the grow.

Temp set at 16C and RH at 45%, they dried nicely in four days exactly. I was smoking is right away. Tastes great to me already.

After this they were jarred up and then have been being burped for last week or so. Full plant hang takes a lot longer, and if your plant needs the longer cure, it might help, but Mephisto strains don't need that treatment. It is just my opinion, but I don't think I am the only one enjoying their weed this way. I even fast dried a couple buds the day of the harvest in that KFC bag over the radiator, and even those buds were awesome, and taste about the same as the ones I pull out if the jar now, and from my experiences, they don't improve over time, in fact, at about six months, they start to decline and lose potency.

You dont leave that COB on in there with them drying do you?

At least now you also know why I do it that way. You know me, I will always give the reasoning behind, which sometimes is scientifically based and sometimes opinion but usually a little of both!

When I chop and trim..my buds look exactly like yours! I leave as much stem as possible, usually around 12-16 inches....4 days is pretty much the max for me...usually ready for jars in 3. Stupid RH lol. I took it for granted in every aspect of all my grows. Idk why I even put the damn gauge in there, wtf!

The lights are left in there, but not on, of course. No light when drying is best. Although the old timers used to hang it in the trees outside. There are a lot of rules that never existed thirty years ago when growing herb. The old timers broke a lot of the rules, that's for sure.

I figured you just had it on for the pic. Of course you know that light us bad lol. That's day 1 stuff.

The old timers just grew them like a damn tomato or something, and treated them like any other crop. Now we baby the shit out of them, and just absolutely give them priority over most things lol Such an involved hobby nowadays, everyone wants the best of the best..or the best they can get...not some dirt weed, shwag nasty, brown frown
