Dutch Passion Autobeast and dutch passion think big

I've done every contortionist trick on DP Auto's, in a magnitude of multiples, never saw one miss a beat.... Just like many others on here.... Take a look at the AU grow link in my signature.... One had every single branch and stem supercropped, some 5-6 times, and it still grew to more than 2 meters....
I fimmed an AU 13 different times and yes it still grew into a monster!!!

Damn, I should get on that FIMing train ASAP. I guess this whole time I've been treating autos like babies (no time to recover so only lst). Gonna get next 50 gals fimmed and compare dry weight with one from current grow. Maybe my anti HST vision was blurred due to old auto genetics which was weak and easily stunted. This thread convinced me that I should try it. :greenthumb:

I've grown many TD's too, but my personal opinion is that TB is superior in yield and strength.... Dunno, maybe just a perception..... And the TB I posted was cut down at 90 days and in hindsight I could pro ably have take it at 80 days. The tester buds I took at day 80 was not different in any way as far as others and myself could tell. Whether it added any weight in those last 10 days, maybe, but nothing I could tell. I have an idea for a swell mass detector that involves a Newton meter.... But that's for laters.... Lol

So you don't think 29 % dry weight is impossible.... I've never seen that before, anywhere.... And asking around, 18 - 22 % was what the boffins came up with. Well, there it is....

I'll fix the pics when I'm behind a laptop, dunno what happens, I see the pics fine both on my phone and a computer....

I rarely bother to weight wet mass but I assume in a really low humidity levels (<25%) in late flowering it can cause an effect of buds being partially dried up before chop. Actually, don't know if it's valid but it makes at least some sense of how you can get >30% dry from wet. 20-25% seems "industry standard" so any variations from that may only be caused by wet mass being "less wet" since we're pretty sure at how dry it should be an the end.

Yeah, that makes sense, only trouble is that plant was not exposed to those conditions and the colas/buds felt just the same "moist" as any other plant when cut and trimmed.
Perhaps the high ambient temperatures, maybe the sky high EC, possibly the ripener and Florakleen, conceivably a combination.....

I got another 4 TB's on the road, I also normally don't weigh wet, but I'll for sure weight those wet too just for the hell of it..... and to confirm this was just some fluky aberration...... If not, well, then Bob's ya uncle!

Top work budlee keep it up.and iv never tried to fim an auto but done everything.topped lst supercropped mainlined heavy defol.all works well as can be seen in my plants.happy growing;)

Thanks bro,you my friend are killing them well also( in a good way) there are a few of us that HST with confidence for whatever reason,i do it for fun, nothing stresses me out more that letting a plant do what it wants, they get tall and unruly, and usually have lots of popcorn at the bottom. I only use 600 watts of HID so effective use of the light is important.if you havent taken a look at rhe mainling /scrog turorial in my sig,its a good read, covers most training techniques and is a constant work in progress..i have 4 plants now that i "missed" the window for HST,guess ill just bend the crap outta em!!! Peace

Bud thanks bro.i dont think people lack confidence.i think theyd rather frown upon the idea and try predict the out come and bash us guys down ha ha.fact is.if u havnt pushed the auto limits urself then u have not got a clue fact;).pics dont lie and facts dont lie. As shown in our work and many other auto growers pushing the limits.and im the same i can not let a plant just grow up.no telling whats gna happen.just a waist when u can create something far bigger and beautiful and control the plant exactly how u want to, and bigger yields;) keep smashing it mate happy growing.and i have seen ur thread mate its cool.will prove alot of people wrong.i been doing all of this for 4 years now and things aint gna change .big autos is how i roll.happy growing;)

Good day all the garden is growing fast;)think big is still slightly growing up and now sits 12 inches from the goliath.and has a very distinct haze smell.killer kush auto is overpowering everything with her smell as she starts to flower and frost up. Really stinks very nice.and front right mephisto genetics 3 bears og auto growing well was left untopped to grow.and front left mikromachine auto growing well and starting to flower after her topping and lst;) here somepics

happy growing every1;)

Here the only reason i say "confidence"..a new grower looking for information will still run in to the typical "old school" thinking that it shouldnt be done,it cant be done, you'll stunt a plant...well guys like @Corgy yourself and I are a few who push the boundries..we know better..and someday people will realize these are not the autos of 5 or 10 years ago, they are strong ,and can take the beating..i only have a few yrs of auto experience but i wont ever let em grow without punishing them some how!!!

Bud true mate but slowly as everyday goes by more auto growers are more curious and want to pushing auto limits.lots of top quality auto growers over on 420mag are following my work and are killing it just like us.its awsome to watch and to help them get to that point is priceless for me.brings me alot of joy;) happy growing;)
