Looks familiar, ain't no stopping a Think Big..... You made a good choice with the 3 gal pots in a 3x3 tent....

Here's a TB that I recently let grow itself in an Aquafarm and how it managed to do it...... Indestructible.... Springs to mind.....

It's a copy/paste from a PM conversation:

Just wanted to share my recent experience with a Think Big, BUT.... ahem, it's a delicate matter, I mean, I don't wanna come across as some hallucinating fibbing moron, anyways here goes.....

3 weeks ago I harvested a Think Big from a continously running Aquafarm with coco. It was fed only FloraNova Bloom, great white myco, canna boost a couple of times, then Ripen and Florakleen the last 3 weeks. I never changed the solution from start to finish, never measured pH and EC in the reservoir .... Just kept refilling although I did pH the refill to 5,8 from start rising to 6,5 gradually towards the end. The water temperature during the grow in the reservoir ranged from 28 - 33 c, the air Temps range from 32 - 41 c........ I adjusted feeding purely by listening to what the plant was telling me.... Backing off a little a couple of times with pure tap water......
I did measure the water in the reservoir when the dust had settled, EC was out of range on my calibrated Eutech testr 11 maxes out at 6,0....the airlift pipe was caked in a sheet of salts when lifted up.....

Here's the thing, I still can't believe it actually happened :

1) it yielded 1282 g wet
2) when dried to app.55 % there was 342 g

That's 29,6 % dry, I gave a mate 20 g wet exactly and he had 7,25 g left which is 36 % dry when he declared it dry according to his perfect state of dryness.....

Apart from the plant thriving let alone surviving the conditions, have you ever heard of a remaining dry weight of say 29 %........?
And the nugs are rock hard, bouncy and not at all airy as I would have expected with both ambient and solution temps, let alone it is by far and away the strongest weed I've grown so far, and that from those who tried it and most of the other strains I've grown...... Scary is the word from folks who has smoked for years....

I spoke with a few others about dry weight ratio, and someone suggested raising the subject for public dissection to see what outlandish responses may be forthcoming, suppose when I'm in the mood for a good public bollocking and ridiculing I might.....unless of course you wanna´beat me to it.......haha.......but seriously, plus 29% dry weight.......who would've thought.....

I understand if you think this is a tale from the far side...... When proofreading this drivel, I believed so myself.... Lol

Cheers

PS: I'm mighty impressed with the genetics of the TB..... Here's a few mug shots just before and after harvest...

Corgy welcome and thanks.sounds like a great result for u fairplay.iv only ever grown in soil and i never mess with ph.just use my eyes to read my plants.was ur think big an auto? And the pic links u posted wont open.but thanks for sharing.im think my think big is gna end up a very good harvest of top buds.happy growing;)

I'm mighty impressed with the genetics of the TB

As far as I recall TB is basically a selected phenotype of TD which itself is great genetics but also main reason I didn't bother to try it (yield \ time is slightly in favor of TD I think and potency wise they should be similar)

hat's 29,6 % dry, I gave a mate 20 g wet exactly and he had 7,25 g left which is 36 % dry when he declared it dry according to his perfect state of dryness.....

29% I can believe but 36% is Voodoo :smoking: Maybe small sample or your pal has an unusual preference of bud dryness :pass:

.been topped and lstd

I've been planning to dip my toes into topping autos but I get cold feet. In your experience how long does it take them to recover from stun caused by topping? (BTW why not FIM?)

It doesnt stunt them at all.if u have stong auto genetics.just makes the plant grow in a diffrent way;)
As far as I know, if a plant suffers from mechanical damage it usually get stunted for a couple of days. It may be that noticeable but plant needs some time to figure out what's happening to continue to grow

I've grown many TD's too, but my personal opinion is that TB is superior in yield and strength.... Dunno, maybe just a perception..... And the TB I posted was cut down at 90 days and in hindsight I could pro ably have take it at 80 days. The tester buds I took at day 80 was not different in any way as far as others and myself could tell. Whether it added any weight in those last 10 days, maybe, but nothing I could tell. I have an idea for a swell mass detector that involves a Newton meter.... But that's for laters.... Lol

So you don't think 29 % dry weight is impossible.... I've never seen that before, anywhere.... And asking around, 18 - 22 % was what the boffins came up with. Well, there it is....

I'll fix the pics when I'm behind a laptop, dunno what happens, I see the pics fine both on my phone and a computer....

I've done every contortionist trick on DP Auto's, in a magnitude of multiples, never saw one miss a beat.... Just like many others on here.... Take a look at the AU grow link in my signature.... One had every single branch and stem supercropped, some 5-6 times, and it still grew to more than 2 meters....

Hi @qwezdan1 I will back up @autobeast on the fact that with a healthy plant, they dont even flinch..I have documented the 24 and 48 hour results and the plants dont skip a beat..Coming soon will be a 6 plant multi strain mainline grow, all 6 mainlined( just for fun),stay tuned....beat em till they bleed!!
