I mix my coco/perlite like 85/15, in center of pot where tap root will be set, I dig 2 1/2-3" hole 90% of the way in every pot, then add 2 scoops of Mycorrhizal (using large side that comes with 2.2lb bag)as I am adding I cover it with coco & keep adding until I reach top. I pre-charge my coco prior to setting tap root in.
 
hey does any of you guys use that rapid start? from directions that seems more for photo-period type plants it seems to me they may need be dosed differently..

What do you do to pre-charge your Coco? I used some Burpee Organic coco seedling mix last time and trouble right out of the gait. Someone said maybe the coco needed to buffered first, is that what pre-charging does?
