Always be careful pollen chucking unless you collected the pollen yourself off the male otherwise you'll never know how good the male was , much love
Correct.. The f1 hybrid will be photo period plants. The f2's will be 25% auto 25% fast flowering photo period and about 50% standard photo period. The f3's will be about 50% auto, 25% pp and 25% ff.. So to find a solid fast flowering photo period the best bet would be in the f2 stock. Once you find one you like you can clone it and keep it around. If you cross it back to a regular pp plant, you will lose the fast flowering trait. Ideally, you'd want to find 3-4 ff plants from the f2 stock and cross those together.. Then hunt the f3 stock for the traits you are looking for... Then try to stabilize the traits in f4-f5.super interesting read here guys! gave me a bunch of info i have been looking for on "fast flowering" varieties.
I wanted to ask. if the goal is to make fast flowering variety. you cross an auto and a photo together.
then from you'r f1's all will be photoperiod. from here I would want to grow a bunch of these out, and just pheno hunt for the one i like best? or is there more too I i can do from here to further refine it down to make an even better, faster flowering plant?
