Hi again Autoflower Network,

I've decided to grow again because it was so neat the first time. You can check my first stealthy dresser grow in my signature.

I've stepped it up considerably since then, and foresee that I will likely run into some problems and hope to get help from you folks as the needs arise.

My 2nd grow WAS going to be 6 plants, 4 in DWC and 2 in soil, just to test out the new system. BUT, my 2 seeds that i popped in the soil didn't sprout (Nirvana- Shortrider) and, when I went to check my system today I saw one of my rockwool cubes had a film of white on the side of it. I opened it up to test the pH and TDS and saw that the "waterproof" caulk that I had used to attach 2 ten gallon rubbermaid containers onto a large one, had gotten wet, turned into a mushy mess and completely separated, and had big chunks of milky caulk floating in my res.

SO, i demolished that set up and built this 6 bucket DWC with a controller bucket setup that I had been piecing together in my head.

Today, the 4 plants I have sprouted have been showing their leaves for 1 day. I put 1 each more White widow (ILGM) and 1 more Northern Lights (Nirvana) into the empty rockwool.

I have the sprouts under a 6 bulb T5 while they're young and delicate, but I have a 900w LED ready to plug in as soon as they get a bit more strength.

Thanks for stopping in. Please advise if you guys see anything that needs addressing.

Thanks,
Tim

well today I was reading about seedlings under LED and I came to the conclusion that it would be fine to grow these babies under the LED. ALSO, the "veg" setting on this actually draws less power than my T5HO. So I plugged that sucker in... holy macaroni it's extraordinarily bright!

I came out of my grow tent and it felt like I had been staring at the sun.

Anyways here's some pics, enjoy!

Nice set up...don't mind if i tag along. Good luck bro --->Pass :pass:

Well I've had some progress. My other two plants popped thru about 2 days ago so I have all 6 buckets up and running. I don't kno exactly how these girls will do after the chemical barrage my caulk gave them fr a few days, but the have a feeling they will recover fine. In the mean time my first 4 plants have all started showing their 2nd set of true leaves. They are realshort and I don't know whether it is the stain the light or the chemicals. Oh yeah or the pH, I've been trying to get it dialed in but it may be real slow over 7 tanks totalling 30 gallons. But I have faith, it'll get worked out.
I also germed 2 photos, a strawberry kush and a super skunk, both in 7 gal smart pots. I want to try my hand at mainlining, and I had the containers sitting full of dirt, and the light already on so what the hey.

Here's a couple pics.

Again we've seen some progress in the tent. The little girls are putting out some leaves and nodes, I know they're gonna start blowing up prettyr quick. I fed them this week with my oldest plants at about 2 weeks from sprout. They all have good roots headed down into the reservoirs and the tent is actually starting to smell a bit skunky already. Temps have been goodbut I had to buy an ac unit and wrap the tent in insulation, its already getting to 100f hrre. It's been steady 73-77f since I did that. One of my sprouts leave s are curled, I'm not sure why. It's not getting any mor e or less light or heat than the rest.ill guess I just have to see how it plays out. Thanks for dropping by

The girls continue to progress. Two have really plumped out, and I've lst them how lot. The others are growing more slowly. I don't know how this grow will shake out. I've been battling with a heat wave up here, and have temps in excess of 90f some days. I'm just gonna let them go and hope they don't succumb to rootrot. Hoping my hydriguard beneficial bacteriakeeps them hearty. Here's some pics
