New Grower Auto Ultimate x5

Whats going on everybody ????? Here is an update, been a minute but better late than never...okay...the plants are getting fed on a daily basis to keep the coco moist and oxygenated, The feedings are still consisting of Cyco brand silica, GH cali magic, and GH maxibloom(mixed at 5-6 grams per gallon which gives a ppm of approx 1300)...over the last week the plants are continuing the "Stretch" with preflowers coming in slowly. The plants are 39,38,and 37 days old..I feel that possibly the heat or the 5 gallon buckets is slowing down the bud growth(remember im still new,so please chime in with ideas or thoughts!!!),but i am only using others pics and journals as benchmark(there are some damn great growers on here whos plants make mine look like hog-feed)....Anyway,,,temps are still over 100F in the days and nights are 50ish with a lowest of 48F,big temp swing i know but my hands are still tied at this point...The DP(dog pruned) plant is trying to catch up in height to her sisters and surprisingly has more flower development, sadly tho,she has way less bud sites...I am still hopeful that they flowers start filling in but i am pretty much planning that these will take 100 days or more(going with 3 gallon smartpots with the next batch).... looking very nice dude some autos can take a beating some cant about your ph in coco in veg try to keep it between 5.7 and 5.9 and in flower 5.9 and 6.2 but as long as you keep it between 5.7 and 6.2 you should be good only one more thing to do is :slap: keep it up dude :pass:

Thank You Wile,I try my best to keep the ph pretty constant but with a dropper style test kit,i adjust to the "yellow scale" then add a few teaspoons of lemon juice to drop it a bit more....do you have any thoughts on the light schedule issue being changed multiple times(because the neighbors issues)....I think they look good too, just the flower development seems way behind, ive really got no other choice at this time since the photo plants are on a 12/12 schedule inside and the reason i went to autos was to be done with the whole "tent" situation, wanted to not only give them room but make it easier to water to runoff...Thanks again for stopping by(and for a rep slap) !!!!!

Thanks Otua for stopping by, i was checking out your AU journal as well to get some pointers since you are ahead of me schedule wise(those are some "beastie" plants),,I will follow along/sub if i can find the option for that, and since you have subbed, feel free to make some recommendations as well

Is it ok to use the lemon juice and baking soda for pH adjustment?

Hmmm I sure hope so, cause i use both,im not positive it works for everyone all the time or in every application, but there are also other organic ways to not only adjust ph but feed plants and for pest control(staying organic was not my biggest concern, but lemon juice and baking soda are way cheaper)..If i remember reading another post right, the ph up or down sold in the bottles is more stable for a longer period of time which would benefit hydro growers..hope this helps, but remember,i am a new grower too, might want another opinion

changing the light schedule shouldn't be a problem dutch passion seem to have some very hardy strains i wouldnt change the lights to much you might cause hermie issues hit up this thread and ask the experts dude they are always willing to help heres the link good luck dude https://www.autoflower.org/index.ph...read-replies-by-afn-staff-only.30723/page-564

Also dude if your going to grow in coco when you have the cash get a good ph pen I was using a cheap Chinese one kept having to calibrate it in the end spent £60 on a blue lab ph pen and have tested it after a year and it's still showing the correct ph :-)

Thanks Wile,, I will try the live help thread for the light question, what really sucks is that this is not a decision that i wanted to do,but it would suck even worse to lose 5 photo plants right before harvest..I have started saving my pennies for a ph pen,and i am glad that you have recommended the blue lab,i will go with that brand ASAP,shoestring budgets really suck,i had a HPS bulb blow out yesterday and had to borrow a spare from my brother,,damn murphey
