Indoor Auto Seeds_Pink Runtz & Acapulco Gold

All at home
  • Hey hey - the Acapulco Gold showed it’s head, so that’s two out of two for these seeds .

The Runtz came first and is flying, today she along with her slightly younger sister were put in their final homes.

Temp: 25 (will sit there lights on and off)
    RH: 60%
    Res temp: 18

Still only sat in worm poo and water in the degradable pots, they were put into the 18ltr plastic pots for the Wilma. A little hole was dug for the little pots and a few sprinkles of Phyco Myco to get them going once the roots get through their pots, finally watered in with a very week Remo Velokelp foliar around the base and a touch in the leaves.

Once I turn the drippers on they will be receiving a PH of 5.8 with EC taken up to 1.0 made up of RO and Tap water, two drops of superthrive and a few drops of Canna Start.

Day 7 Pink Runtz and Acapulco Gold
  • Hello all - a little update for you on the @Autoseeds.com run I am doing currently.

The plants are in their final resting place as per the last post, the PR has clearly taken root and is about to shoot up whereas the AG is still lacking behind - this said she looks fine with no ailments.

Having random issues with my res for the first time in years - the PH keeps shooting up past 8 no matter how much PH down I put in there - so as not to poison the ladies with PH down I changed the res last night so let’s see.

    Temp: 23-25
    RH: 60-65%
    Res temp: 20

    Feed:
5 times per day for 1minute a time - do t worry…it’s coco and clay.
Canna start, CalMag, and PH down at an EC of 0.8

the PR is way ahead as you can see - but now she has taken it is only a matter of time then the Wilma can get to work

    Day 9
  • Just a quickie before I head away for a few days. The pink Runtz is going swimmingly - she has clearly rooted well in her new home and is getting going, I expect when I return she will be a totally different beast.
On the other hand the Acapulco Gold which was slow to germinate is still playing catch up, I have just seen her perk up a little which makes me feel she is not far behind with respect to getting nice and rooted.
I am supporting the Acapulco as I have not had that since I was a young lad so hoping it is some of the old school flavours and

Tem have been high the last few days but it’s all good - 25 to 28
    RH 60
    Res temp 20
    EC 0.8
PH 5.8 finally under control now

DAY 20 - Pink Runtz and Acapulco Gold
  • Hello everybody - in between trimming myself to sleep, I am sneaking another fat doobree, a Cider and a little update on these two ladies.
    Top left Pink Runtz
    Bottom Left Acapulco Gold
    23ECA338-1FEB-4F2A-879F-FA06E4DCB056.jpeg

Temps: 22 - 28 (temps dropped for some reason...the reason being I forgot to turn on the Lung room Inkbird so the rad did not trigger on)
RH: 35% ish which is rubbish as it is humid outdoors and this is in the bloody garage...humidifier to be put in later tonight.
E.C: 1.6, I pushed it to 1.8 but they drank the nutes and left the water so it is back at 1.6 - I will bump it back up to 1.8 later today
    PH: 6
    Res temp: 20

The Start and other early nutrients and supplements have all stopped, it is just A&B grow and cal mag now, alongside a nice foliar Remo Velokelp every morning

Starting with the Acapulco, well...she has been a slow lady, she looks healthy just taking her own sweet time - I was hoping for a nice sprawly Sativa to take over tent when the other plants are down...I live in hope - otherwise she is fine.

The Pink Runtz on teh other hand is going along nicely, a few days ago I topped her, and this morning I tied down a little and spread her out a touch, a quick spray of velokelp and she is back to normal

So far, no dramas, both are very easy drinking what they are fed and not shy of full lights from day 4 or so of their lives - so pretty hardy genes

    Day 22
  • They are going in nicely now and the time lapse camera is in place - the bids will be week look with 15 minute snaps.

Anyway - fixed the Temps and RH otherwise all the vitals are the same as two days ago.

Pink Runtz - have her a good seeing to, I want 8 or so main colas and no fluff on this lady, after every tie down or trim she gets a good foliar with Velokelp which perks her up immediately. This said, I spotted some very minor leaf tip discoloration which is down to my heavy handed was with the nutrients - I will keep them at 1.6EC for now and nudge up in a few days.

Acapulco gold, she started oh so slowly, she has now taken root and is catching up nicely, I expect her to take over the PR in size over the next week or so. She also had a bit of a trimming a dose of Velokelp this morning

    Day 25
  • Hello one and all - I trust you are all doing well!

We are now 25 days in, and now I am back in my trusty Wilma set up things are looking just fine.
The first week or so the PH was up and down but it has not settled nicely at 5.8 requiring the same number of drops per 20 litre top up.
Temps have been a little more unstable than expected in this tent, I changed out my radiator in the lung room to the smaller one as we are supposedly ending spring and entering summer - but it dipped to 22 and set the alarm for the inkbird which is a pain the arse that early in the morning!

End of last week I started topping and stuff like that - I left the Acapulco alone as she was a little lady and still. little shy at coming forwards - since then she has grown nicely with loads of side on side branching starting - so she will get the Z treatment in a day or two.
The Pink Runtz on the other hand has been flying along nicely, I have topped her once, trained her down pretty hard and left her nearly naked in the baking sun - she just winks and carries on as normal - the Runtz is a strong plant in my view - after a beating, a heavy foliar spray of Velokelp and she is ready for more.

Overall, if I had not decided to LST & HST these ladies there woul dbe very little to report as they are doing their thing in the way they should. I started adding Monosilic to the res as they are being abused so to give a little extra strength.

    Temps: 22 - 28
    RH: 35 - 60%
    Res Temp: 22
    E.C: 1.6 - 1.8
    P.H: 5.8

Pink Runtz before and after - she has been busy this week, after every touch up she along with her sis get a good old foliar of VeloKelp.

    E5873289-530B-45E4-B9E4-B9C549C41C27.jpeg

She is strong - as you can see there are no signs of stress or anything, just healthy!

The Acapulco has been the slower fo the two from the start - she is now working hard to catch up and with her heritage I expect by next weeks update for her to have overtaken with branches everywhere. For now I got her started and ready for growth and stretch.

    Day 27_AutoSeeds
  • Hello Again, its a gloomy sunday outside, so I started with a nice strong cookie along with my tea for breakfast this morning...starting to come around slightly now so here is an update.

All the vital stats are within the acceptable range and have had little variation over the last couple of days - I had to tinker with the radiator in the lung room and connect it to an Inkbird but we are back in the temp zone I prefer with no more than 2deg difference lights on or off.
RH has been low throughout this grow, with spikes when I foliar spray with Velokelp after every fondle of the plants.
Over the past 5 days I have added circa 20 litres to the res, this is made up of grow A&B, CalMag, and a few drops of GG monosilic - there are 3 plants in the tent drinking from the same res at the same age so I would say they are having a good old drink up. The EC has been very stable all week with no adjustments giving me comfort that the plants are taking what they need and what is in the res is at the right level.

PINK RUNTZ - She has not missed a beat since she germinated, over the past 10 days or so I have really thrown a fair bit of abuse at her, I planned on 8 colas but could not count so I have six, I could dilute it slightly and get 10 or 12 using some strong sides, but to date I have pruned pretty much everything that is not at the end of the stem. She now has very slight tip discolouring which I must assume is due to where the E.C is at the moment. In the Wilma I think you can take them to the edge of their comfort zone and pull it back if it gets to much - but as she is thriving, I will keep the EC at 1.8 for now.
Fort the next few days I will leave her alone and only remove anything that gets in the way, otherwise I will allow to her steal a little bit of height before I lay in to her again.

    CA8ADDA9-22FA-4DEF-9674-438992AA70DF.jpeg

ACAPULCO GOLD - she started of very slow, she has picked up and is shooting out a lot of branches so I gave a her a little good morning haircut and tie down. She is fit and healthy with no signs of anything other than goodness, this said she is setting her self up to be lanky, the way she grows and bends Vs the stiffer tighter build of the PR. I love a good Sativa and have really high hope for this lass, and now she is in her groove it is keeping a smile on my face.

Day 30 - Acapulco Gold & Pink Runtz
  • Hello Hello Hello - I trust you fine people are all well!

Right then on to these two lovely ladies here from @Autoseeds.com
    The stats are as follows:
E.C: 1.8 made up of GreenHaze Grow A&B, CalMag, Buddhas Tree Advanced Meta boost
    P.H: 5.8
    Temps: 23 - 27
    RH: 40 - 50%
    Res Temp: 22
Fertigation, 12 times for 1min - this will go up a lot over the next week or so - normally end up with 15-25 daily 1min runs.

    Pink Runtz:
She is having a great time, she has been topped, trimmed, tied down a fair amount and she keeps trooping along. She has a lovely thick stem and good stems and stalks to help her along later on without and only the odd Yo-Yo.
The aim is to not abuse too much from now on - I need to leave her to stretch - she has shown the first few long white pistils but still early days so plenty of time for her to be positioned where needed for finish. As always after each fondle be it a touch up or a full on attack everything in teh tent gets soaked threough with VeloKelp.

    Acapulco Gold:
She is doing rather well now - I can tel she is going to be lanky, for now she is lovely and supple and loves a good tie around. I have trimmed her down a fair bit now and she is the only plant not to show any pistils yet - which is expected sp no dramas.
