From what i have been told, it is purple afghan crossed to hindu kush. I don't know for sure if it is a hybrid or and IBL. If the fem seeds i have grown are any indication of how stable the line is. Then it has to have been worked for a few generations. The fem seeds come out like the above plants time and time again. Only slight changes between phenos.
Being a clone only, the true heritage isn't really known for sure.
It was bred in the humbolt/emerald triangle area originally. The cut came up to BC 10 or so years ago, and has spread like wild fire. That is where i get it from, the okanagan valley in BC.
This PK is a bit different than what Sr-71 passes out, but it's similar. There is no grape in this PK, it's all coffe/kushy goodness. If you grow her organic you get hints of that hazey spice kind of smell too.
What struck me the first time i grew the PK was the size of the stalk.. Biggest i have seen on a 3 foot tall bush.
