New Grower Auto Pot Air Dome in a Smart Pot?

Has anyone taken a smart pot style cloth bag, poked a little hole, and stuck an air dome at bottom?

Fill cloth pot same way one would soil and pebbles in a smart pot...but just made a manual feed version?

seems it would really explode roots with the breathability of the cloth pots.

somebody donate an air dome, i got two of the same strain Ill do a side by side.:smoking:

I was about to mix my soil ( getting ready for transplant ) for my cloth bags, and pondering on their ( cloth pot ) benefits.
Im not a fill and forget person...CDO ( same as OCD, just alphabetical like it should be ), so i like the therapy of feeding and nurturing plants...so i cant justify autopots...but the air domes....hmmmmmm

i actually thought of doing this with an airpot because it has the holes in already for the air dome tube.just go for it bro i think it would work great getting all that extra oxygen to the root zone

Im thinking the same thing...breathable pots with that forced air goodness.

1.5:1 ratio foxfarm soil and perilite.....might be a neat experiment

I wish I could do this, but I have too much on my plate now, and I like to encourage others to jump in and test new ideas! Honestly, test grows and my Ducksfoot projects are consuming a lot of my time.

Ok then.
I will order 2x Air Dome setups and a pump.
I have 2 each of Blueberry Auto, and Critical Mass Auto that were stunted and stressed their first 12days, so it wont hurt to try it on my current run.
Still have a week or so till I move to my cloth pots.

I'm thinking about trying this in the bottom of a hempy. Inverted netpot in the bottom. I've seen people cut a hole in the bottom of fabric pots and drop a net pot in there as a wick so I'm gonna kinda reverse that in a pail.
