Dinafem Auto Industrial CBD in SuperSoil

Sorry to hear about the HS's, but it sounds like your'e getting things dialed in for a great grow. I'm in for this ride, good luck!

Outside of a hydro mishap today, everything is smooooooth.

My Heisenberg Special actually got planted today too. Those guys were freebies from my first purchase with Mephisto. My only 2 beans to not germinate. The 3rd one was my last HS!

Loving the consistent updates mate and yes it will be good to see what memphisto soil and our genetics get on. I'm sure it will be a good match

Plant is looking very healthy and progressing well :pass:

Please keep the constant updates coming and we love the added pictures very much appreciated!

Until the next one :bong:

All the best

Mark..

PLANT UPDATE!
Day 13

Here she is!
IPCBD-1579.jpg

She is steadily growing and starting to accelerate. Her leaves are by far the largest of the tent and almost fill up my 3 gallon fabric pot.

Starting to water her more regularly as well.

Lights
Currently running 250 watts of 1212 citizen COBs. Moved them down to ~25 inches today.

Water/Feed/Nutes
RO Water.

pH

Have not pH'd any RO water. I will pH the next feed, which will include Organic CalMag (2-0-0)

Air Temp
Still stable in the low 70s to low 80s

Humidity
Still 30% to 50%

PLANT UPDATE!
Day 14

Notes!
I noticed yesterday that she was looking a little light green and wrinkly. So I moved my lights up a bit. The plant next to her also exhibited some heat/light issues, but was more damaged. :sadcry: Everyone is still good though!

Lights
Currently running 250 watts of 1212 citizen COBs. Moved them back up to ~30 inches last night.

Water/Feed/Nutes
Approx 300 to 500ml RO water with recharge, 1ml/l carboload, and 1 ml/l Organic CalMag - Fed last night, after I saw the heat/light stress. Also seemed to like one of my other plants was slightly underwatered.
They all looked extra perky after their watering :headbang:

pH

Both pH meters settled at 6.5 for the last feed:shooty:

Air Temp
Still stable in the low 70s to low 80s - shown in the photos below

Humidity
Still 30% to 50% - shown in the photos below

Now its my favorite part.... The photos!!!!

Here she is next to her sister Skyrone Stomper (Tyrone Stomper x Skywalker)

Here she is next to all of her buddies (Northern Cheese Haze, Skyrone Stomper, and BlackBerry Kush (DutchPassions)

NCH is in the bottom right, and you can see some damage on her unfortunately... But she responded well to the water and the re-positioned light. :hump::hump::hump:

PLANT UPDATE!
Day 15

No big change from the last update. She did get more water this morning. She did not get water yesterday, but did get water the night before. Her pot was the lightest in the group and received the most water, close to 500ml.

Lights
Currently running 250 watts of 1212 citizen COBs. Still at 30 inches

Water/Feed/Nutes
Watered this morning... (did not water yesterday, watered the night before) Approx 500ml RO water with 0.5 ml/l Organic CalMag and BU's Bio dynamic Compost Tea (aerated overnight with a little CarboLoad added in)

pH

6.1 ph for the Compost Tea mixture

Air Temp
Stable in the low 70s to low 80s

Humidity
Still 30% to 50%

**time between this photo and the last photo was less than 24 hours**

Check out how much it exploded compared to this photo from less than 24 hours ago (yesterday)

Leaves are getting LARGE!! No comparison to the other plants in the tent.

I cannot decide if I want to train her or not. She is in a 6ft tent, so I am not too worried about the height. Also, her tent-mates should also get pretty tall, so I don't need to limit her height for those reasons...

What do you guys think? What you you rather see?
@TD300 @jingo @Dinafem-Mark @Yozhik @KonopCh

I don't think I am willing to do any high stress training, but definitely could do some LST. However, they seem to grow just fine without LST, according to Jingo's grows :worship:

I find that I must LST my plants because at the bottom I get plenty of popcorn/airy buds and it's pain in the ass when trimming. Also trichs are not rippen (main cola cloudy with amber, lower buds clear with cloudy). So 70-100cm plant is too tall in my opinion. I LST around 20-25 days when plant has 4-5 nodes. Just open it to the sides of your pot and let it grow from there. Then I cut some leaves which covering bud sites and lower leaves (so I can water without problems). At 30-45 days (stretch pharse) they should be around 35-50cm tall and that gives you nice buds without fluffy (low quallity) stuff. Yield is also great.

In my experience @MoreBerry , the IPCBD doesn't require LST.
The height isn't an issue, and the structure is open enough to allow light penetration through to the area normally reserved for popcorn.

I've only grown 3 of them, but what I can say is that EVERY bud was a 'keeper'.
Seriously.

That's what I was most in awe of with this strain.
EVERY bud was resinous and hard.
I did not lose a single bud due to being too airy or under-developed.
Not one bud was thrown away over the three plants.
Take from that what you want.

The caveat is I did defoliate to allow improved penetration.

Horses for courses - I'm a fan of LST - but didn't need it for these girls.

Whether or not you train is going to be predicated upon how strong your lights are. If you grow the IP CBD to its potential it'll be 36 to 40 inches tall and about the same diameter. I agree with what's been said before there's plenty of space to get good light down onto the buds. So if you can get enough intensity of light 3ft down your plant then training is not required. I usually just pluck off leaves on the faster growing tops to slow them down.

If you can get 700-1000 umols on lower bud sites (which is optimum without CO2), than 40 inch above where is main cola it would be 2000 umols I guess. And that is way too much.
