I like sweet seeds genetics man they are really strong to grow and great to smoke also. Personally with my CFL cab I can only go as big as a 7 litre pot to grow in and they do great. Im germinating 2 blackjack automatics tonight and will grow them in the 7 litre pots for sure. I usually adverage around 22-28 grms per plant dry. Perfect for my little cfl garden, I can get up to 10 of them in my cab so that adds up fast. I usually grow only 2 auto's while I veg my photosensative plants on the 18/6 cycle. So ya 11 litre pots would be great for those sweet seeds strains but for those super auto's I would go bigger I would say. K.I.M.

I normally use 11 Litres for all my autos - I´ve done nearly the whole Sweet range - 9 at a time in my tent and average around 40-50g per plant generally.
What I´m looking to achieve is a step up in yield and quality and without more light I think pot size and medium are the areas to concentrate on! Thanks for your input bro!

i normally use 7 L pots, but i am trying with 10 and 20 L now. The plants are bigger, also the feeding, and there is more risk of fungus attack. If you make a short time of growing, i recommend you to use the 7L pots.

Thanks for that Jay. I stopped using 7 L pots about a year ago and found my yields improved significantly in 11 L. I´ve yet to have any sort of fungus attack (I hope thats not tempting fate!) I was averaging around 30g per plant in 7L´s and average between 40-50g in 11L so I´m wondering just how much more I can get in the space I have available!

Buen Domingo all. Who else forgot the clocks went forward? Got up, wondered why the lights didn´t turn off at the normal time. Luckily the penny dropped before I started unplugging my timers etc!

Anyway, not much to report - all looking good in the tent. Here are a couple of snaps of one of the LST´d Green Poisons. I´m really happy with the structure of her and am expecting some nice sized flowers.

Afternoon all. I hope everyone kept their wits about them today and didn´t fall for any April Fools pranks. I went to the bank this morning and the assistant (who is a friend) managed to convince me my account was empty. Cue panic until the penny dropped!

Anyway, on to business. Day 37 and things are looking good. My tent is packed to the rafters and if I am honest a bit overcrowded, but its always like this at this stage. By the time the vertical growth has stopped it will be more manageable. They are throwing pistils out everywhere and I´m reasonably confident of a decent yield to come!

This is a Green Poison left "au natural"

and an Amnesia that looks virtually identical

I have had some lower leaves starting to yellow and the odd brown patch so its time to up the feed. Tonight they will get 2.5ml/litre of pH perfect Grow, Micro & Bloom along with some Big Bud and B52 plus some cal mag.

This is a Green Poison that I tied down and she seemed to love it. Nice and open with plenty of good sized colas starting to form

Finally a bit of self indulgent camera nonsense (it makes me feel good) of the Green Poison

Temps are steady at around 27ºC lights on and 23ºC lights off. Rh is around 40% and run off pH is 6.4-6.6.

Day 43 update - everything is right on track. The girls are fattening up nicely. Had a bit of a cal mag issue with one of them, but I think its corrected and I´m not worried.

Here is a tent shot - its pretty crowded right now!

This Green Poison is the slowest of the 4, but structurally looks awesome and I think is gonna yield very well

A slightly shorter Green Poison but much further along in bud development

And a bonus shot of my just sprouted tomatoes that will be on my balcony along with chilli´s, watermelons, cucumbers, various herbs (including our favourite!) and sunflowers.

Very happy right now - I have pushed the feed a little hard and a couple have some light tip burn, so plain water feed next, followed by one more dose of Big Bud and then I will switch to Overdrive for 2 weeks, and then start to flush. I expect the quickest plants to be done in around 3 weeks.
