Indoor Auto Gelato

[Garage_Grower]

Hey everyone, I’ve dropped an Auto Gelato bean into a 3gal pot of Promix HP and will be posting weekly updates on its progress! I received these beans from @Mr B. from Female Seeds (Big thanks again!!) for the grow off, but between COVID and the CBSA seizing the first package he sent, everything ended up being delayed by a solid 3 months . Better late than never though, here we go!

Setup
- 6’x4’x6’ DIY cabinet
- AC Infinity T6 extraction fan w/ carbon filter
- 6x 3500k 65w Autocobs from COBSHOP.net
- Tower fan and 6” oscillating fan for circulation
- 3gal Fabric pot w/ Promix HP
- Humidifier w/ Inkbird controller

Environment (Inside Cabinet)
- 82°F with 65% humidity
- Autocobs are 32” above the soil

Nutrients (GreenLeaf brand)
- MegaCrop
- Sweet Candy
- Bud Explosion
- Sea-K Kelp

Day 24

She’s coming along nicely now, bushing out low and wide, with a nice and even canopy so far. Feeding this one about 1L every other day.

Day 31

I cleaned up a few branches down below, and took some fan leaves off up top that were blocking things. Nice and even branching, I only had to adjust 2 branches with LST to move them from under others. Looks to be nice even lighting to all branch tops now!

Day 40

Full speed into flowering now, with lots of bud sites peeking through the top of the canopy. I’m still feeding her around 1.5-2L every second day. Temps and humidity are sitting at 78°f / 57% respectively.

I don’t know what it is about this strain, but it’s got its hooks in me! Nice uplifting smoke, sweet and creamy aroma to it, slight citrus kick in there too. Super sticky, dense buds that disappear abit too quick around here haha.

Day 51

Still cruising along doing her thing! Starting to build up a nice layer of frost on all the flowers, and the smell is intoxicating! Maybe almost like a creamsicle?? It’s going to be a real treat!

Day 62

This plant has been a real pleasure to grow, trouble free the entire time, perfect upside down umbrella structure, and has taken everything I’ve thrown at it without a hiccup. All the limbs are starting to swell and fill in now, and everything is doing what it should. Medium sized, super sticky, round dense flowers that are looking and smelling incredible. Creamy and dank citrus is what comes to mind, and I know I’m not winning any awards for describing smells anytime soon . Still around 2 weeks left or so, is what it’s looking like. Auto Gelato is listed as 70-84 days from seed to harvest on the website, so that checks outs. Thanks again @Mr B. from Female Seeds!

Day 76

It’s coming to the end of the line for this beauty of a plant! Maybe another week and it should be time to give it the chop. Plenty of chunky, frosty, solid colas, plus the fact that this was a breeze to grow, I would definitely recommend it to anyone to give it a shot! If it smokes as smooth as it grew, I think we will have a winner!

Day 81

Chop day for this girl! All of the buds have filled in nicely, and are now looking quite dense and very greasy! A real pleasure to grow, it was almost like it was on autopilot! thanks again @Mr B. from Female Seeds
