Just planted her, so nothing to see for now. She is planted in a mix of Ocean Forrest, Happy Frog, Coco Loco, and a few other small inputs.... Her 1st watering was with Mammoth P, and soon she will get some URB, Recharge, Forge and many other microbial products, as we seek to promote the biology in the soil, so these tiny workers can care for my baby girl...

I used a Ancient germination technique, that has been practiced and passed down through many millennia...... And it has a very high success rate... In fact I am 100% successful with it, for around 40 years of growing (hopefully I am not jinxing myself)....... And that technique, pull up a chair people and listen, is to plant the seed directly into the soil and then give it it's 1st watering........

Baby Duck - day 2 of life and health....... When I germinate a seed I get the soil good and wet, now that she has popp'd I look to let it dry out a tad, as if one keeps it too moist and wet it will harm the seedling and possibly cause a anaerobic condition in the baby root zone which is a breeding ground for the bad guy bacteria and pathogens.... Too much water, not enough oxygen. This is a critical step in the plants life, in fact I have believed for decades that the seedling stage is the most critical....... And yet it is very easy in soil. I dont use any domes and never have. When my seedlings pop they get 24hrs of light for maybe the next 2 weeks of life under a low power screw in led bulb in a desk lamp fixture. The light is set very close to the seedling around 3 -4 inches away, with a small usb fan that is set to keep the heat off of the plant and not blow on the plant at this stage of life, that will come later... This is my seedling nursery.... it works and they are always very healthy and have fast growth, though in this stage the growth mainly occurs in the root zone.

I would love to see what these girls turn into and what kind of buds they grow.
I am currently growing a freakshow that has an interesting leave formation - looking like a freak fern - some around here call it the fernweed. That reminds me, i need to post an update about that

I do like the duckfoot look, please dont wait another month before you show us her progress.
